Last year there wasn't one russian in the final and only a couple of swedes and finns. But on the whole WC is just a festival for D teams. @ferdukie Uh yeah... it's ice and if he had fallen on his head, there could have been some major damage. This isn't baseball or football or basketball, it can really be deadly if you hit your head on the ice. Knowing the damage the ice can do, I think most of the players help out anyone - crew members, teammates, opposing team members, fans... just about anyone. Pucks, ice, sticks, blades... it's all lethal and no one wants anyone hurt.
