Thanks CC! Your phrase should have been "doing" as it's yet another ongoing project ;)) My happiest moment in Flash followed shortly after, when I figured out how to control RS232 com port via TCP with XMLsocket. Now I'm thinking on feeding some "real" data into this thing. A little closer to star trek hehe!

Wow, very well done. I love the concept/execution! I'm just getting started with Flash, but would love to try something like this. At the risk of asking an open-ended question: how did you go about this project? Can you point me at any resources? I'd love to see the download as well (not up on your site yet?). Thanks, Scott

Hi! Thankyou very much! I am using flash MX (which is getting old now I guess) and assuming you know some flash/actionscript, I kept the main movie simple, then had it load each section while sync'ing with the time line. This way, if changes need to be made, it's just a matter of modifying that area, not the whole thing. The .exe was created with flash projector.
The cool anims were done in Maya, vrsn.6.0 so had no toons yet. all lines are cylinders, and rendered with glow.
