  • Ok, you're mad about how the UPS driver treated your shipment, so you switch to a company (FedEx) that treats the shipments WORSE? Good logic there!

  • @TinyTuba822 I have had more problems with UPS than with FedEx. But that's just my experience. I would love to see an objective analysis comparing the two?

  • Wow, people defending the UPS guy for doing a shitty job? Will you say the same when your packages are damaged?

  • @claygriffith01 It's a hard job, but I believe drivers need to hear from customers, and vise versa.

  • Looks like poor shipping by ULINE. If this was the package, I would say Do you want the box or whats in it. But since the box is the box, It's a poor shipper. Not the carrier.

  • @stinkydroolface You're right about that! I have conceded in previous comments to this perspective. I have also changed my arrangements with ULINE, as well.

  • Get a hobby bro who do u think u are tmz

  • this video is whack!!!!!! i dont see where he did anything wrong. he still handled the packages with care, it's not like he threw them and slammed them around. and those boxes were full of other boxes for shipping, it's not like it was glass or other valuables. then you said thanks to him and didn't confront him about anything, douche!!! i helped seasonal this year and its hard work, think about doing that same procedure over 200 stops a day, not including package count!!!! good job ups!!!

  • C how stupid FedEx would do this better.. Don't think so....

  • I don't see anything wrong with this delivery!! Hey idiot how about you fix your stairs instead of posting stupid videos!!

  • I DO care! I practically cater to my customers! Who are you to hide upstairs and video him then criticize him?!? Do the job then sit perched on your window seal and pass judgment.

  • @lyricalwildman I'm glad you care! Didn't notice the damage to my package contents until the driver drove off. I have learned a lot from this dialog. Hope you and other drivers have learned something too.

  • I most certainly DO care! I practically cater to my customers. However, hiding upstairs and filming a man who is just doing his job is going too far. The "uline boxes" were only scuffed from normal package handling. Do the job then judge us.

  • Lame video! Nothing nor no one is perfect. Not even you! GET A JOB and a LIFE! Just try doing our job for one day. No doubt you'd be crying mommy by noon! Lol

  • @lyricalwildman Your job is difficult, I know. More than I could do. Nonetheless, you should appreciate hearing from you customers. That is, if you cared about future business?

  • too stressful. One just quit on us a few days ago and during peak to boot. Ex army, said it was too stressful and couldn't handle it. Next time you want to bitch at the ups guy for something that doesn't matter or didn't damage your goods, think twice about it. Oh and us drivers have to wait on people all day on top of the work load we already have. No clue !

  • @pounds85 Very helpful insight! Thankyou!

  • @raymuser You are very welcome. I'm sorry about my language on my post, it just angers me to see people slamming a guy who has a rough day at work everyday, for something so miniscule. Especially, since I know what it's like to do that job. It is by far the most stressfull job I have ever had, people don't understand what goes into getting that job done. I have done construction and many other jobs, this one is by far harder. It requires alot of mental strength and ability to handle

  • @raymuser stress and be a people person. Again sorry for the language on my earlier post, I don't want to give the company a bad name by having one of their drivers cursing at people online, not my intention. Have a pleasant day!

  • Wow.... Your a bitch. Obviously the people that are bitching about this have no clue what a ups driver goes through every day. I would like to see any of u go out and deliver 150 plus stops everyday...Ohhhh around 300 to 400 packages everyday, plus pickups, plus all the special requests that customers make, plus this all has to be done under multiple time limits. 1030 for next day air, 3 for savers, and everything else under your daily dispatch. I've seen ex military quit this job because it wa

  • I like how you ignorant fucks will make remarks about how they are 'abusing' your packages. Do you have any idea what it's like to work there? I'd like to see you treat each package as if it were a box of florescent bulbs while trying to maintain a timeline. Get over it.

  • This UPS man did nothing wrong. The shipper packed the product like asshole, but the ups man did his job. Why you go and try to do his job and then lets see how you hold up.

  • It's the company who packages the stuff if it had better packaging there would be no damage to the product duh

  • He's ordering all those card board cause he is moving out of the apartment. Have fun living in the streets. UPS is a tough job but stop beating on it people the benefits are okay an you get a raise every year. Its part time but you can work two jobs if that doesn't satisfy your needs.

  • I dont see anything wrong here, except the weird creepy guy who stays home, doesnt answer his door, and sneakily goes upstairs to film a man doing his job. Get a life, Id bet 100 bucks your a fat-ass, fat asses seem to be more whiny in life Ive learned. I bet you couldnt do his job if your life counted on it

  • looks like this guyy was asleep when he was trained. One of the packages looks like it is still in good shape. I'm sure the union brothers will have a word with him and set him straight..... Pay for the worst expect the worst. that's what brown can do for you.

  • @blueman841 I have changed my shipping from Uline, as well.

  • Seriously dude!!!! Really?? It's fuckin cardboard

  • seriously who thought this was hidden camera material. what a baby

  • Hand to surface, bulkhead door open throughout the delivery, bulkhead door open when he took off, no 3 point contact getting off the truck and on the wrong side, using straps instead of lifting opposite corners... To pick on us it can go on and on lol.

  • @defencerulez Good points! Learning a lot of interesting information about procedures. I suppose some drivers are learning too...

  • My Ups guy he pick up for me for free lol and he gentlely place my package in front door . Also he black! ..

  • granted his hand to surface needs a lil attention, it was really just broke down boxes, not fraglie. trust me our company has alot worst drivers then that. but like every company even the good ones bare the bad actions of few. refuse a bow flex after we get it to your door, then you'll see mistreated. lol

  • @shipfaced It's a tough job! I grant you that. I appreciate the service, especially when it's done professionally.

  • I think you need a bigger watch.

  • that damage is acceptable. slap some tape over it. ask uline to put the boxes in a bigger box to protect them in. whos fault is it that he had to carry it up 14 steps? its YOUR fuckin house. you dont think thats a pain in the ass? you could of helped him. at 2:28 you could be heard saying "ok thank you". why would you thank him and then make this video? because you are too scared to confront someone yourself. its easier to sit behind a computer and post a video.

  • ok, the Uline packages are broken bown boxes.. i'm trying to figure out why this video is posted and what the purpose is?? i clearly hear the UPS guy say to someone "OK thats it.. thank you" .. so he wasnt being rude.. he brought up 5 boxes and the one you show is of boxes that are strapped from Uline and the dent is on the outside of the protective box.. the top of the box you show will happen with any box like that going down a conveyor belt shute.. the thing he did wrong was back the truck

  • @simonmegatron Good summary! Very helpful analysis. I know there are many worse scenes of delivery mishaps on youtube.

  • 2 the retard who posted this video: r u fkin serious? u have a camera... the guy actually walked up all those stairs 2 deliver your shitty shipping cartons, and your problem is??? i work for usps, and r u aware that he could've just left u a notice to pick em up your dam self cause u have too much shit? UNGRATEFUL BASTARD. next time u know what's gonna happen, fat ass.

  • @secutorclaudius Very well stated! Lots of pain here (on both sides). I realize U work very hard. Thanx!

  • @raymuser thanx, these ppl think we have all the time in the world. this jackass would want the delivery person 2 probably put them inside his house, open them for him, make them into boxes, then give him a bj. what an ass.

  • @secutorclaudius Now that you got this off your chest--lips, feel better now?

  • @raymuser yeah, i do. u know how many packages i deliver that have been crumpled, crushed in the shipping process? i feel bad to be the one delivering them because i am a customer also.

  • Big DOT offense within the delivery truck. Bulk head door is open the whole time.

I do not even understand why the creator of this video even took the damn time to post this on youtube. THEY'RE PACKING MATERIALS FROM ULINE!!! NOT A SAMSUNG 46" LED TV!! Big fucking deal for packing material!!

  • If you think that is bad, you should see what goes on inside the hubs. Seriously... this is nothing.

  • @ryanjurek Wonder if there is some kind of attitude among drivers and handlers about the way packages are treated? Do they resent having to do hard work?

  • @raymuser After having worked there for about 2 years, I can tell you that the problem with UPS is the horrible work environment. I'm not just talking about safety, I'm talking about the constant war being waged between union laborers and management. Both management and the unions are constantly looking for way to "get" each other. It's completely hostile and it's ridiculous. Yes, they have the best pay and benefits in the industry, but that's the ONLY thing they have going for them.

  • @ryanjurek Great insight! Do drivers have a career path to upper management levels? In the past, I know some drivers who have moved up to executive positions in the UPS organization.

  • @raymuser The driver's starting pay is much higher than most of the management salaries, especially the lower-level managers. It's unusual for drivers to take jobs in management. It's a total mentality shift from union to non-union.

  • ZOMFG! nothing wrong with this video. . . .except that he grasped the packages by the bands?!?!?! o NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS. . .and l2 bend at the knees bro

  • Lol, if you think that's from the driver you've got another thing comming. Most people complain and like to shoot the messenger (aka the driver) for damage done loading, shipping in the trailer or plane, unloading, sorting, loading again, bouncing around in the package car, and not to mention all the mec stuff it comes in contact with. Packages are supposed to be able to indure that and dropping at least 10' (because there is no one in a trailer when it's being shipped!).

  • @Pyrohawk24 How is the shipper supposed to know about the actual testing specs for UPS? I've read their shipping guidelines online and didn't see anything about the test of surviving a 10 foot drop!

  • if you think thats bad, you should see what the conveyer belts do to your packages! lol! thats not bad at all. in fact, i work at ups and our rule of thumb when telling customers how to package- should be tough enough to hold up at shoulder level and drop pkgs onto the floor! this shipment is not packaged properly. your cardboard thingy's are supposed to be completely enclosed or its "own risk". no approved claim for you! lol

  • @audevourahn Very informative! Wish I knew more about UPS shiping standards as understood by drivers. When I ship packages to my customers with UPS I make sure they can withstand a lot of banging around and pressure on all sides. I'm learning...

  • @raymuser you're welcome. i've actually quit at ups as of yesterday. they're not very kind to their employees- i picked up a sweet job working for an oil company! if you ever have questions, please feel free to post on my youtube page, and i'll try and help you out. there are some great ways to avoid fees and so on through ups if you're in the know. i'll be happy to give you some tips anytime you like.

  • @audevourahn Good luck on your new job. I know driving is a tough occupation. The packages I send out are mostly long rectangular tubes 48x4x4. I wrap the weed twisters in strong foam board to prevent crushing. With the foam board, so far, I've had no problems with either UPS, USPS or FedEx..

  • if you think thats bad, you should see what the conveyer belts do to your packages! lol!

  • that is a box of boxes from uline they never wrap there crap they band it together so tight it crunches the boxes nothing to damage just a box of boxes

  • Are you actually serious??? What were we supposed to be seeing??? Do you complain about rough toilet paper too????

  • @blasted360 The eye of the beholder. See whatever you want to see...

  • So let me get this right the UPS guy lets cardboard hit the ground and you a mad.

You people really have no clue.

  • raymuser drives a van with no windows... lol... you weirdo

  • @5150Murph Thanks for your intelligent observation

  • @5150Murph theres no van in this video....

  • @thatsfornoobs Im talking about the weirdo that lives there

  • @5150Murph i know...when do you see weirdo who lives there's van? because all i seen was a ups truck and the tires of a van near the end, but i don't see a van without windows.

  • @thatsfornoobs Haaa

  • Holy Cow you people are idiots. You say "I'm using FED-EX from now on". Have you seen the Fed-Ex guys doing the same here on YouTube? Clearly not every UPS, FED-EX , or DHL (what's left of them) driver behaves this way. It's like when we come to your job, and realize you over-salted the fries again. But we don't cry about it, because we know your mom is over at Burger King over-salting those fries too. Crying over cardboard, I can't believe you still have this video up.

  • @TheGardener61 You may have a point. But, so far, I haven't expericenced the same issues with FedEx as I have with UPS.

This is a portrayal of my experience, as displayed in the video. We do not pose ourselves as experts in shipping damages at the hands of various carriers. We propose that all carriers be more careful.

We appreciate your comments and those of all our visitors. We learn from every word...

  • @TheGardener61 You define douche. Congratulations.

  • Comment removed

  • @lldownlifell Ahh yes, the "DOUCHE" retort. The standard of todays 20 something caucasian male who has wasted his formative years on the XBOX instead of his public education. But don't worry. Jobs in the security sector offer you a living wage, and with government programs, you'll do fine. And best of all, many security jobs allow you to watch the Telly. Hey, here's a definition for you, LOSER. Ask your father, I'm sure he'll enjoy the irony.

  • @TheGardener61 Refer to my previous comment. Don't post comments trying to make yourself feel "above" others. Use correct grammar when trying to sound like you know what your talking about. Thank you.

  • @lldownlifell I don't post comments to 'try' to make myself feel above others. I clearly am. I do however welcome the opportunity of discord with an individual such as yourself. In some small way, I 'feel' as if I'm doing my small part to help the intellectually challenged. So please, continue your incredibly insightful responses. Your mediocrity confirms my superiority.

  • @TheGardener61 Hows this for insightful. You fail. Suck less. Your still a douche. Cry? I expect a cry response. Please do, so I can copy/paste this comment again as a reply :)

  • Who orders cardboard anyways?

  • @Runski8 Ever buy a product online?

  • @raymuser Not before Friday. What's your point?

  • @Runski8 Products are shipped in packages made of cardboard.

  • O_o

I didn't see the driver put on his seatbelt when he hopped in, started the motor and drove away...

  • @junkymagi Thank you for your observation. Safety first!

  • you wouldn't last a day on the job. complain to U-Line they are the people that ship your purchase exposed. try going to Staples, buy your own boxes and carry them up the stairs yourself, what a dickhead, seriously are you gay and have unrealistic expectations in life, are you a QUEEN ? breaking the guys balls, what a prick.

  • you are a jackass. complain to u-line, the shit isn't packaged properly. you wouldn't last 1 day on the job. pussy.

go to Staples and carry your own boxes up the stairs. what a dickface.

  • you're an asshole. you try doing the job, walking up those stairs. tell u-line to pack your fucking boxes better. of course they have little dents and gouges the product you paid for is exposed there jackass. get a life, buy your boxes at Staples and carry them home and up those shitty stairs yourself, dumbass.

  • You'd respect the people who actually load and unload this shit if you saw what they have to do

  • @lololmao7 I realize it's a tough job! I appreciate the careful work done, if it's done professionally. Perhaps I expect too much?

  • damn i would of left that shit at the bottom of the stairs....

  • @nic4ker As would most UPS drivers. No longer using UPS for this type of shipping. Thanks for your insight.

  • oh poor guy. The end of your empty cardboard boxes is bent.

  • Thats bullshit. I had my packages double boxed and with foam packaging. It looked like it was ran over when the customer found it on his door step, with not one mention of it being re-boxed somewhere by ups.

Total fight getting the claim paid but after a long as fight and 10 phone calls we got the money back.

We dont use UPS now. We use usps and fedex for big stuff.

  • @BarbG22 Like you, I am also using mostly FedEx and USPS to ship my weed twister packages in narrow tube boxes (square and round) to my customers. Much better results over the past 6 months...

  • Secondly... If you're so concerned about your packages, why didn't you help the guy unload them instead of sitting there with your camera? It also appears that someone watched what he was doing & never protested. It's like you sat in waiting just hoping for some way to get someone in trouble. Classy.

  • @roopull I started shooting before I knew he would drag the packages up the stairs. Once I saw this sad situation unfolding, I stopped shooting the video and went out to help him at the upper level. I'm just wondering if there is any detail in your training or UPS manuals to allow for "dragging" packages up stairs?

  • Part 1...

As a driver at big brown, I kinda' find your complaint a little silly. I don't mean to be disrespectful with that, but if you think this is rough, you should see what goes on behind the scenes! In order for anything to be covered by UPS' insurance, it has to be packaged properly. That includes putting things in a box with at least (if I'm remembering correctly) 3" if packing between the outer carton and the contents. We're a parcel company, not a cake delivery service.

  • @roopull Very educational --- thanx!

  • @raymuser , as a UPS driver I don't see what was wrong with this stop. It is procedure to leave the package out of sight. And it looks like it was.

  • @rodort2006 I understand your perspective. The driver did make the effort to climb the stairs to deliver my packages. I appreciate that. I also helped him at the top of the stairs. What I don't appreciate is that he dragged my packages on the stairs, causing scuff marks and dents on the contents which makes the boxes in the package more vulnerable to being crushed in shipping.

  • @roopull so thats every drivers excuse for being fat lazyasses at their JOB?

  • @roopull I see no point to this video. I didn't see any rough handling of anything here. At least EDIT IT so that w aren't just watching dead space trying to figure out what waste of time thing you are doing. BTW UPS POLICIES ARE INSANE in another REGARD. When you use an ASO everyone should know...if you pay them outrageous amounts to pro-pack..and they underpack...ups WILL deny the claim. Note the video where I deal with 2 sisters ship in CT. They told me if I gave correct info -no pay.

  • OMG HE IS DRAGGING THE BOXES!!! OH NO!!! would'nt want our CARDBOARD boxes to get ruined. all that matters is that whats inside makes it!

  • Shake hands?

  • @kkwize I would be glad to shake hands with you and with any driver who pledges to handle my packages or any package the same as he would a care package being shipped to a soldier overseas...

  • If the pkg's were light IM sure he would have not dragged them up the stairs. If there were no stairs IM almost sure he would have used his hand cart. Those uline pkg's are not light.

  • @kkwize Thank you for your insight. Looks like anyone with stairs leading to their front porch should not depend on UPS for safe home delivery...

  • That was the shippers fault. They did not put the Uline boxes in a seald box. What do you EXPECT?

  • @kkwize Yes, the shipper is at fault, as well. Buy why would a driver drag any package up the stairs?

  • You switched to FedEx? Good riddance.

  • @dominoize Spoken as a typical UPS driver, I expect.

  • @raymuser INDEED.

  • I can't believe all the idiots on here DEFENDING UPS for this kind of behavior. If it was any other industry and an employee had this kind of general disrespect for his job, he'd be fired! Imagine if this was your doctor and he left a couple of flaps hanging when he stitched you up to save time and cut corners. Someone would get sued big time. But because it's just a "stupid cardboard box", that makes it OK. No wonder this country is going to straight to hell. And learn how to spell people!

  • You know what you peices of shit these guys are on a time frame you think he has time to sit there and go in and out of the truck and stack each one of those pkgs neatly on the ground? see those red stickers they mean next day air he doesnt have time to bullshit with these pkgs get em off and get them delivered asap and shipping company you go through im sure treats pkgs way worse so know the facts you jackasses!

  • You got to be kidding me. You're complaining about that...if you only knew. If you got a problem with that, then go get the boxes yourself. We are #1 in the world bud and we do are job well. Bet that dude makes more than you with better benefits too.

  • @hoobyjbaby Thank you for your insight. I have switched my shipping to other carriers who seem to do a more professional job.

  • @raymuser lol....Your packages have seen 10x worse before they even made it into the truck.....8 years loading trucks and ill tell you this guy is an angle compared to people i know.

  • @raymuser no shipping company is better than the other

  • @hoobyjbaby I would've at least tried to stand the packages up.........

  • Lmfao. Are you complaining about empty cardboard boxes? Hahahaha, I wish you could see what happens inside the hubs. That is like, babying those packages in comparison to how many belts they get to ride on, chutes to slide down, and being loaded and unloaded.

You can cry about your small scuffs on your cardboard. You have no idea what the shipping business actually entails, obviously.

  • @komokaziboschetti Yes, I have a lot to learn about shipping. What I have learned so far about UPS is not reassuring. So far, I've done a lot better with FedEx.

  • @raymuser ...i work for fedex and i guarantee you we treat your packages just as bad..we just dont care.

  • lol uline is to cheap to ship the boxes in a box :P i like when ups breaks the windshields that daewoo ships to us, its insured with our account # so we get paid :) last time they hit a speedbump down the block and a big ass plasma t.v. fell on top of our package smashing all 3 windows, i heard them crackling, now i get paid for 6 windows :P, i ship my personal stuff FEDEX !

  • i work for ups , im a csr, and because of that stupid dr, i take calls every single day of people complaning about it! :S fuck that if you guys say we're the best, go ahead and prove it! :S, thats why you get paid for, btw wheres the infonotice? :@

  • Its only cardboard dick head you must be a big asshole you need to get laid! Your lucky im not your driver.......

  • Are you sure you are not my driver?

  • @raymuser exactly for those of us who know...........Uline is just cardboard

  • You realize if this was shipped ground it was probably handled by 4-5 different centers before the driver even touched it, right? Going through one center your package is probably handled by 4 people, at minimum. Add that up.

This is mostly at the fault of your shipper who didn't even seal the contents inside a package.

  • Straps you know better. LOL

  • Hi, I'm a NYC UPS driver, doing it for 15 years. This driver is just doing his job. I could see that your shipment is only 4 or 5 stupid long empty boxes, so you could ship your goods. NOT FRAGILE AT ALL. Now if you have a problem with your UPS driver just tell him. why didn't you tell him right there instead of being playing with your video camera. If this was me, I would be leaving the pkgs at the botton of your stares. But hey you have to admit it WE ARE # 1 no matter what people say.

  • okay i work at ups, fedex sucks and treats their employees like shit anyways.... plus that isnt that hard on a package as compared the the abuse a package can take on the miles of belts and slides it will go down. thats why the shipper is responsible for the packing arrangements of the box depending on how fragile it is.....

  • @jonathanhamm88 Yep, you're totally correct, the pkgs recieve more 'abuse' in the belts inside hubs. So they just have to wrapped in the correct way

  • you should use FedEx next time!

  • Since this shipment was shipped from ULINE, I didin't have a choice over the carrier. For items I ship in these cartons I finally realized that FedEx was a safer carrier than UPS, after several mishaps, lost shipments, damaged products, etc. with UPS. The items I usually ship are weed twisters made by Ergonica. These are long steel weed removal tools and are very strong, but cannot withstand the crushing of tubular boxes when mishandled by shippers.

  • yeah, this driver should be more careful with his deliveries. he should also respect his customers enough to handle ALL the packages as best he can. all we have to offer is quality service. I've been a driver for 33 years, worked the sort, unload, but you just have to have some pride in what you do and do it the best way you can, that's what makes you love your job. work hard, do it right or get a job where you can .

  • Have you worked in Los Angeles? We need you here!

  • You should have had them put a "Fragile" sticker on the precious box of cardboard if you were worried about them getting scraped. Normal boxes with actual items in them are not usually dropped like that.

  • Next time I have a similar shipment from ULINE I will definitely ask for better shipping arrangements!

  • @mitchio83 It doesn't matter if you put a "Fragile" label on the packages they treat all packages the same way. Don't waste your money on "Fragile" labels.

  • I work at UPS and when i see a fragile label i dont throw the box as hard.

  • @mitchio83 You are a UPS driver or you work inside the the shipping facility. I ask because my friend is a preloader and he told me that he and his coworkers never pay attention to the fragile labels when the load the boxes in the UPS trucks since there are so many boxes and not to mention the belt is constantly moving and they always have to keep track of their sorts.

  • I work inside the building sorting boxes, nobody actively looks for the fragile stickers, but you can usually see them when you look at the labels and if you arent alittle bit more gentle with it you are just an asshole, UPS employee or not.

  • I have to admit I laughed at this video, not because of what the driver did though. I laughed at the one filming to came out and observed the damage up close. When you ship something you are getting what you paid for. I dare you to find a cheaper more effective way to get that package from point A to point B. Can't be done, believe me they've been trying.

  • This is a learning lesson for me and probably most people who don't drive for UPS or other carriers. I think we consumers expect more from UPS and others. We also need to be more careful about what we order from certain vendors, like ULINE in this case. I also hope the drivers can learn more about how their customers view their practices?

  • really check the numbers and see how ups does against the its competitors...not doin to bad. ups does everything with one driving that fedx, dhl, and the post office do with different companies. Matter of fact DHL failed to keep up with UPS in the ground business. Fed EX has to use 2 drivers to handle one account that ships ground and air packages. Believe it or not the competitors are trying to keep up with UPS. World Wide Delivery, Finance, Logistics and Research...all in one company.

  • Competition is good, especially if it results in higher quality and lower prices, not the other way around! Take a stand for quality, it will pay off big in the long run...

  • helllo there boxsssssssssss i hate winers gezzzz goooo to ghl lol

  • Good to see the thoughts of another driver. Lost your driver's license? Looking for a job?

  • your a douchebag ray.

  • That driver did nothing wrong. Plus that package was not properly packaged. Not outside

  • I agree that the package was not properly packaged - shame on ULINE!

But the UPS people should instruct their drivers to take special care in this circumstance. If special handling is necessary, they can bill the shipper for special handling charges, as they have done to me at times.

  • Only a lazy person would order that much then just sit and video the delivery. Thank God I live in the south where people are considerate enough to at least offer to help! You are the typical jerk that lives up an unsafe set of stairs, that most delivery people from any company, would pray for you to receive your packages through the competition!

  • Glad to see how you and perhaps some other drivers really think! Actually, I did go out to help the driver when he got to the top of the stairs on a couple of trips. I took the other videos and photos after he left. Also, for my own sake, I now rent a UPS box where I can more safely receive heavy or bulky items through UPS or other carriers with no stairs to climb. Easier for the drivers, safer for my own property. Still, I have noticed rough handling signs via UPS without any stairs.

  • That's like saying "only a lazy person would wait for some farmer to grow oranges and then some company to squeeze orange juice out of them and box it up." What an absurd thing to say. He is PAYING for a service. That service is door-to-door delivery of packages. If UPS cant handle it, they shouldnt be advertising.

  • You people are clueless. There are no 'contents'. It is a bundle of flat sheets of cardboard that you can assemble into boxes. If it gets scuffed up on the concrete, so what? That's why Uline ships them that way, 'cause it DOESN'T MATTER!

  • Interesting perspective... another driver? Actually the top and bottom corners are not as critical for box strength as are the edges towards the center. If the edges are crimped the box is more likely to be crushed and contents bent during rough handling by UPS drivers. Banged up corners and sides, whether or not they weaken the strength of the box, are unsightly and give our customers the impression of low quality and poor customer service. It does matter to me, if not to UPS drivers.

  • Where's the video of the 3 other boxes that weren't slightly damaged. It's always the people that live on the 3rd floor with no elevator that order a bunch of shit and then complain when the box is scratched. That doesn't look like damage from the concrete. The straps bent the corners and the edge(where a strap used to be. The way he carried the packages there was no way for the middle of the box to hit the step. Try doing this job for half a day and you'd have a much different perspective.
