Everything she said is common knowledge in the Western Europe. These problems are complex and military is clearly not the only solution.
The US has not been attacked because it is in a constant state of high alert which is just addressing the symptoms of the problem e.g. being bedfellows with despotic regimes because of the oil pipe. Meanwhile Al Qeada has become more bold and is recruiting and attacking beyond US shores.
