It doesn't matter. The pianist totally understands this piece. He could equally play straight classical any time he wants.

so....what am i saying...why ruin chopin ,with a lousy arrangement and such playing...just to entertein some people that had supper on a cruie ship.i don't find it nice either to chopin or to music generally.and if you want loud music listem METALLICA or RAMMSTEIN...all night long.actually...he would be funnier and wiser to play the above mentioned groups in a smart arrangemnent.

anyway i suggest you to lsiten some names in piano playing.you will see CHOPIN is allways interesting,not boaring.

chopin wrotw his music with indications about what and when should be played.so what yoy say = actually this is better than Chopin himself.well...i think your teachers would also be proud of what you understood about music.yes...i know...on a cuise ship,public is at that hour after some shots at least...so they don't ''give a toss about the score'',for that matter some ladies could wake in another cabin,not their own...after good entertainment.but that is another topic.

@jeanetteswift.hy honey-bunny..it's me ..adrian.not nice ,blocking my answers once you replyed to my piont of view on this performance.a)beeing ''educated musically''(not verry succesfuly judging from your taste and level of understanding music) ....is of no relevance.

b)you reply is really stupid because(focus now,as much as you can)what you are saying(you can fall asleep at piano recittals...etc)=Chopin was a lousy and boaring pianist.because he wrote the scores.in that way.

What an amazing performance !I was trained at The Royal Northern College of Music,were there are alot of excellent pianists but non can compare to this young and exciting player ....you may fall asleep at a classical music concert if you are not a purist ,this extremely talented musician would keep me awake all through the night ,BRAVO!!!!

just looked over the score,it has piano on the first page ,and even pianissimo...at a point.so...that is chopin ,not me.i think we should try to respect,as much as our skills can afford,the composers intentions.it does not matter that people really do not understand if it's wrong or right.sorry

@adifundesq Dont think the general public on a cruise ship could give a toss about the score,they want entertainment of the highest calibre and they have it with this young man ,plus I bet this superb musician is earning alot more money than pianists in the classical world .

chopin with horns &drms.bad taste at his best.but...audience seems to enjoy.i bet they are great chopin listeners.everybody's happy.again ,another "brilliant" arrangement.way to go.....you seem to have studyed sometime.what do you think your teachers would say about this?or chopin ,for that matter..(by the way...always...fortissimo?)it seems he used to play piano also on fast runs.and many others do it.can't the boat afford a piano that can be heard with all dynamic range?.

@adifundesq stick to recital rooms if I were you .I think his teachers would be extremely proud of him,playing a wonderful variety of music and entertaining people from all walks of life ,....now thats talent!!!
