The Companion Bible (King James Version), The Strong's Concordance, and the 1611 King James Version Bible with the Apocrypha and the letter from the translaters to the reader. I do not know Hebrew, but am familiar with the words, idioms, and figures of speech. I know that the Hebrew is a fixed language and has root words and other words stem from the root.

Two solutions to Islamism:
1) Peaceful method - Convince Muslims, Mohammed was lying, deluded, or a false prophet (e.g. getting revelations from fallen angels).
2) All non-Muslims globally, unite and defend / fight back, by any means necessary.
God uses alot of symbolism in the Bible so only the wise will understand. 666 = vicar of God in Latin, Greek and Hebrew. The pope is 666. Sunday is the mark of the beast.

And furthermore, you are ignorant of history because Christians have always worshiped on Sunday. It was common for Jewish Christians to go to synagogue Saturday morning, worship, go home, eat and rest up, and then go out to the vigil that night (which was Sunday in the Jewish reckoning).
And if your going to speak about the shabbat know what your talking about. It was not custome to go out for as you say a vigil at night, because shabbat is from Friday night to Saturday night and usually comes to a close before it get dark outside.

The Council of Nicea (and the other ecumenical councils in the 4th and 5th centuries) had to do with identifying books as Scripture, Apocryphal or Heretical. The councils identified 27 books as New Testament Scripture, and 46 as Old Testament Scripture (though the Jews only recognize 39 as Scripture).
Uh I'm from Israel and I know for a fact there are more books written by the prophets than what you speak of.

But the Grego Roman Western world worships pagan days so this is the day they call it.
Saturday falls on the 7th day, so it doesn't matter if you call it legoday it still would be the 7th day of the week.

The mark of the beast is in your right hand or forehead. The right hand is what most people use to do everyday activities. it's your work ing hand. What is in your forehead? Your brain. God also seals His elect in their forehead (brain). these are not literal marks. If you don't have the knowledge of God's word in your brain, the beast will cause you to recieve his mark due to his lies and deception. The mark is not a tatoo or chip in your skin.

The Greek word used for "mark" means cutting into the skin for a badge of service.
Don't apply your English understanding to a book that wasn't originally written in English.

In=upon. the wrod in Greek is EPI. The word is ACCUSATIVE which implies a downward pressure of a thing that rests. Imagine that weight on your mind.

The Companion Bible (King James Version), The Strong's Concordance, and the 1611 King James Version Bible with the Apocrypha and the letter from the translaters to the reader. I do not know Hebrew, but am familiar with the words, idioms, and figures of speech. I know that the Hebrew is a fixed language and has root words and other words stem from the root.

And furthermore, you are ignorant of history because Christians have always worshiped on Sunday. It was common for Jewish Christians to go to synagogue Saturday morning, worship, go home, eat and rest up, and then go out to the vigil that night (which was Sunday in the Jewish reckoning).

It is absurd to use the argument that just because some Christians decided to abandon the Sabbath day proves that one of the 10 commandments has been abolished. You can't use that argument. I can quote you a early historian who says that the majority of the church were still keeping the Sabbath day.

@ajpmathwiz Colossians 2:16, if you read the whole context, is referring to the ceremonial law written on paper i.e the yearly sabbaths, the feast days, circumcision etc. It is not referring to the 10 commandment law.

@Adonomos If you read Colossians 2:16 it is referring to the laws written on paper. It is not referring to the 10 commandments. Do you seriously believe that Paul is trying to say that God has done away with His commandments, or is Paul saying that the ceremonial law has been nailed to the cross? I think you would admit that it is absurd to believe that Paul is saying the 10 commandments have been nailed to the cross?

Everything that happen and commanded before Christ was fulfilled by & in Christ.
The Sabbath continues on in Christ and we confess this on the Lords Day.
We still uphold righteousness and we still keep the seventh day Holy, The Lords day!

@Adonomos But the seventh day is Saturday. Look in the dictionary and you will see that Saturday is the seventh day. Sunday is the first day of the week. Jesus never abolished the Ten Commandments. Colossians 2:16 is referring to the ceremonial law.

Your statement clearly shows you know nothing about the bible because any one who has read the original text in Hebrew knows the bible has been tampered with. Ever heard of the council of Nicea.
So save your water down version of what you think you know because I can tell you know very little.

@1HelpingMany Yes, I've heard of the Council of Nicea. No, it did not have anything to do with tampering with the Scriptures. The Council of Nicea (and the other ecumenical councils in the 4th and 5th centuries) had to do with identifying books as Scripture, Apocryphal or Heretical. The councils identified 27 books as New Testament Scripture, and 46 as Old Testament Scripture (though the Jews only recognize 39 as Scripture).

Uh I'm from Israel and I know for a fact there are more books written by the prophets than what you speak of.
People on councils don't speak for THE FATHER. They speak for man.
It clealy shows a contradiction in your statement because you say the council didn't tamper with the scirptures and then turn around and say they only chose books they saw fit for putting in.

Would you like to read the OT and see how many times it mentions other books we are to read to get the full story of events. Like the 'Book of Yasher'.
Or the 'Book of the Kings' so please don't tell me they didn't tamper with the bible when they took information out and put in what they saw fit to keep people under their rule.
You need to better learn the role of the coucil and what their true purpose was and not this water down happy version of what you heard.

@sabbathsermon1 Who said the Sabbath changed? The Catholic Church didn't call Sunday the Sabbath; it was always referred to as "The Lord's Day," never the Sabbath. It was the Puritans who called Sunday the Sabbath. Don't go around blaming us for things we didn't do.
