Tbh though there have been very few "epic" albums to come out of 'Deth since the the 80s until fairly recently, and I think Metallica have had the same problem since the Black Album.

As for the live thing, I've seen both bands live in the last 2 years and wow oh wow! Both have put on amazing shows and, although I think in the 90s I'd agree with what you say, now 'Tallica have definatly got it back! :D
