  • I thick they should of put more in to The Final Episode

  • Maybe Devon and Michael have secretly planned a three-day Ménage ? What is Devon’s relationship with Michael’s temporary love interest? He kissed her square on the lips with Michael looking on. And new cast member Peter Parros as 'RC3', Reginald Cornelius III gets to be in the final scene of the series, bookending his first appearance in the season premiere. If producers knew it was the end, it would have played differently with other faces included. They were reasonably sure of a fifth season

  • So new cast member Peter Parros as 'RC3', Reginald Cornelius III gets to be in the final scene of series, bookending his first appearance in season premiere with Pamela Susan Shoop as Marta Simmons. Assessing his bike’s disjointed “malfunction”, RC strokes the shock absorber. It looks like he has a touch of vitiligo just above the elbow, below the bulging bicep, when Devon exclaims, “Great Scott!” and looks down at the “impressive”...mess. But probably not, since Paross has gone shirtless since

  • So new cast member Peter Parros as "RC3", Reginald Cornelius III gets to be in the final scene of the "Knight Rider" series, bookending his first appearance in the season premiere with Pamela Susan Shoop as Marta Simmons. Patricia McPherson as KITT technician Bonnie Barstow probably would have been in the last scene if producers didn’t feel reasonably sure of a fifth season renewal. Old-timers (40 and up) see RC and think of Royal Crown Cola. Unrelated: bottler McPherson at 1330 Stancell

  • So new cast member Peter Parros as 'RC3', Reginald Cornelius III gets to be in the final scene of series in “Voo Doo Knight”, bookending his first appearance in the season 4 premiere, “Knight of the Juggernaut” with Pamela Susan Shoop as Marta Simmons. Charles Jesse Davis as Jeremy Towers in the finale could evoke that MLB exploit of HERmIDA since Davis turned 80 that day: AUG. 31, 2005. South Bend, Indiana-born Dick Durock as Max and Henry Gibson as Donald Crane conjures interpretations too

  • The real final episode, to Michael personal story was "Scent of the Rose". When he got married, but his wife was killed, and had no choice but go back to the others..

  • @qwuezalothus David Hasselhoff wanted that episode to be the series finale- but the producers were not wanting to end the show that way. They were wanting to continue it with more episodes which is why "Scent of Roses" was followed by several others.

  • @JLC31383

I know all that. I personally wish the producers to Hell and accept Hasselhoffs opinion.

In Knight Rider, there are about 20 episodes which are really about where Michael's life turns out to. The others are usual cases a detective has to crack up.

  • @qwuezalothus I just think that if "Scent of Roses" actually had been the final episode- it might as well have been with Stevie only going into a coma instead of dying and then waking up out of it after Michael got his revenge against Durant. Then the episode would have ended with him leaving the Foundation for good and K.I.T.T. knowing he was probably going to be getting a new driver eventually. Michael and Stevie would be going off to live happily ever after.

  • @JLC31383 , "Scent of the Roses" where Michael gets married leaves the foundation and his wife dies and Michael told KITT "lets head for home." That should have been the end of the series. which would explain his reason for leaveing the foundation in the Reunion move. "Voo Doo Knight"" ended up being the last episode which I thought was a mistake.

  • @Astraldragon1 They did not have a reunion movie in mind until four years later- so I do not see why they would end the show with Michael Knight telling K.I.T.T. they are going home to the Foundation when that is going to be the end of the entire series. The producers had it done that way to explain the show was going to still go on. Otherwise- the final episode of Michael and Stevie getting married might as well have had a happy ending with them both leaving to live together happily ever after.

  • @JLC31383 People can still go back to their job after a tragedy has hit them hard, work at it a few years later, then realize they can't do it anymore and leave. Nothing in "The Scent of Roses" actually contradicts Knight Rider 2000, which reveals Michale left the foundation because he was "burnt out", losing his wife to the violence that comes with the job is a good enough reason to become disillusioned with said job

  • @ZipZagginGallifrey I understand fans get disappointed with this being the end of the series as it is not a real conclusion- but I have seen final episodes for other TV shows and quite a few of them end with things still going on as well. Therefore- I do not see how "Knight Rider" is doing things any differently from them. I never had a problem with 'Scent of Roses' not being the series finale- it would have just been unnecessary to kill off Stevie Mason at the end if it was.

  • haha Great Scott! this was right after back to the future came out, lol.

  • Where is Bonnie?

  • @echozgus She did not appear in the series finale- it was never even mentioned where she was during this episode.

  • Most TV shows from back then did not have a final episode with an actual ending- so it is not a major loss that this one ended as if things were still going on.

  • @JLC31383 some did. The A team did i believe, and hardcastle and mccormick did. the H&M finale was very well thought out. McCormick goes to law school and hardcastle agrees to pay for it if he can win a basketball game which of course the judge lets him win and the last words of the series were the judge saying he has bet on quite a few long longsots over the years with mccormick saying "i bet i was the longest" and closes with hardcastle's signature "now you're cookin' "

  • @pdennis93 While "A-Team" ended with a cliffhanger indicating they finally were going to be pardoned- "Hardcastle and McCormick" actually had resolved the big problem that started off in the series. "MacGyver" actually had a final episode where Mac quits the Phoenix Foundation after meeting his son Sam. "Incredible Hulk" did not have a final episode that ended the adventures- but it was followed by a TV movie with a story of his death. I have seen every single episode to all of these TV shows.

  • This IS the last scene and so the original ending of the original Knight Rider series. Whether you like it or not this is the case.

  • Why did it have to end? Why I tell you? Why? I wasn't around when it was being filmed and I've got all the DVD's but when I watched the last scence, I was crying.

Knight Rider will live forever though!!

  • I was way too young to watch this show at the time it was being telecasted however, i just finished watching the final season..and i really enjoyed the adventures of Michael Knight. I do however feel that there should have been a proper ending episode..may be like the decommissioning of FLAG or possibly..I guess the message is, bad things/people do not come to an end...

  • what? the girls kisses the oldman in the mouth? wtf? Did the knight Rider and the old man had some kind of tag team shit going on :)

  • @lopazio I think in those days it was quite normal..there is an episode..where michael gets married and Edward Mulhare(oldman)kisses the girl in the mouth...i guess its not who but how a kiss is intended is what matters..in this case, it would be very "fatherly"..i did however find your comment quite amusing..;)

  • the last moment of one of the best tv shows ever was someone getting off with a girl

  • too bad it didnt go to season 5.

  • The Scent Of Roses was supposed to be the final episode but was moved to mid season. Stupid Move! It was a better ending.

  • A weak end to a classic show.

  • @ade2006 Not the original ending.
