A lot of times people say "Well if I over deliver what do I get out of it?". It shouldn't be thinking about what you can get out of it, but how you can help someone out. If my boss is loaded with stuff to do I'll offer to stay and do a double to let him take a break. I feel like if you don't want to do something to help others no one will want to help you.
