Yes the levee failed. It failed because Louisiana is corrupt as hell. That's the Claiborne bridge. I looked at that barge and and the hole it made till they moved it. Push something that big through that much concrete and steel and its not gonna sound like somebody fluffing a pillow. If the levees were strong enough it might have held but the money that was supposed to maintain them went in someone's pocket period. New Orleans, Louisiana... third world and proud of it.

@avonbathbianco The levees were blown up in the past but I don't think they were this time. The walls surrounding the 17th street canal used to leak and were visibly weak long before Katrina.
On second thought, ALL the authorities around New Orleans knew this was possible. They knew well how weak these particular canals were. They also had a pretty good idea of how the floods would spread if the levees broke.
@avonbathbianco I think a case could be made that certain people allowed the weak levees to stay as they were with the intention of flooding parts of the city in order to redevelop them. The oldest and most desirable lands around New Orleans and surrounding parishes were occupied by the city's poorest. A few local developers have long showed interest in getting rid of these people so that new developments could take their place.

I saw an interview with a former US Navy demolition member. He found explosive fragments where some of the levies broke. I heard reports of a shoot out between the mercenaries and local police. Katrina was steered by weather control systems using HAARP. Weather has now been weaponized by the Elites for use on us poor/slave people. They called it mixed income housing, it was only built in a few areas where the neighborhoods were in bad shape before Katrina and the storm merely finished them off. I live in New Orleans, i work in these neighborhoods on a daily basis. they're are still occupied by the lower classes.

I'm not saying it was a bad thing or part of a big plan, and you are right a lot of them went to lower income housing, but the complaint is that they didn't have room for ALL of the people who were there before. I see what you're saying. I don't know why they built those townhouses in place where the housing developments had been. They look nicer, sure, but they can't hold nearly as many families in a row of town houses as they can in a 3 story apartment building as was the there before.
They did need to tear the housing projects down though, they were in horrible shape even before the storm, they just turned abysmal after Katrina came through.

That it gave them an excuse to do what squatters laws were preventing them from doing: "cleaning up the projects" a bit, while simultaneously protecting the tourism industry of the French Qurter/Downtown areas.
The biggest flaw about that conspiracy is the fact that the levee alongside the 17th street canal broke in Lakeview, causing one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in New Orleans to receive around 10 feet of water. Had that not happened, the conspiracy might hold a little more clout.

I am sure these levees were engineered with emergency explosives built in to them for this purpose. You can clearly see the levee wall right closest to the damaged portion is perfect in this video. No damage whatsoever. No stress damage you would expect to see. This damage is too clean as to what section was damaged and the sections that are not damaged. Katrina was too big to not cause damage to that entire levee if it was going to cause damage that severe IMO.
How can anyone look at this and believe that this damage on the levy wasn't man made? If it was Katrina that did this there would be more areas on this levy that looked the same or a larger section of the levy should have been damaged. How big was Katrina again? Hmmm... There should've been freeway overpasses with the same kind of damage to them, looking similar to this levy damage. This clearly looks like destruction from an explosion or possibly from the barge, not a hurricane.

Yes the levee failed. It failed because Louisiana is corrupt as hell. That's the Claiborne bridge. I looked at that barge and and the hole it made till they moved it. Push something that big through that much concrete and steel and its not gonna sound like somebody fluffing a pillow. If the levees were strong enough it might have held but the money that was supposed to maintain them went in someone's pocket period. New Orleans, Louisiana... third world and proud of it.

On second thought, ALL the authorities around New Orleans knew this was possible. They knew well how weak these particular canals were. They also had a pretty good idea of how the floods would spread if the levees broke.

@avonbathbianco I think a case could be made that certain people allowed the weak levees to stay as they were with the intention of flooding parts of the city in order to redevelop them. The oldest and most desirable lands around New Orleans and surrounding parishes were occupied by the city's poorest. A few local developers have long showed interest in getting rid of these people so that new developments could take their place.

They did need to tear the housing projects down though, they were in horrible shape even before the storm, they just turned abysmal after Katrina came through.

I am sure these levees were engineered with emergency explosives built in to them for this purpose. You can clearly see the levee wall right closest to the damaged portion is perfect in this video. No damage whatsoever. No stress damage you would expect to see. This damage is too clean as to what section was damaged and the sections that are not damaged. Katrina was too big to not cause damage to that entire levee if it was going to cause damage that severe IMO.

How can anyone look at this and believe that this damage on the levy wasn't man made? If it was Katrina that did this there would be more areas on this levy that looked the same or a larger section of the levy should have been damaged. How big was Katrina again? Hmmm... There should've been freeway overpasses with the same kind of damage to them, looking similar to this levy damage. This clearly looks like destruction from an explosion or possibly from the barge, not a hurricane.

I was SAYING, since this is a Katrina video, someone said to impeach Obama, so I was making a point that Obama wasn't the one who sat around for 4 days while those states suffered from the hurricane, I was saying that it is sort of irrelevant to say that on a Katrina video when the casualties and suffering wasn't UNDER Obama's presidency.
