Well Done. I'm thankful you didn't do a helicopter the whole video like many of the other videos I've seen. I was most impressed by your contact moves (esp. the elbow-neck-elbow contact at :47-50 seconds). I have an aluminum quarter staff which is good for speed transitions (which I prefer) but am looking forward to my 5ft or so staff coming in the mail. Several Halo variations I am trying would be greatly aided with a more weighted staff. Good work.
I agree with pretty much everything you just said there.
And I know how you feel. Of course, my skills are still rather low and amature-like (Though only started just over 2 months ago or so). Anywho I know how you feel seeing as my 140cm staff is just a tad too light for pretty much ANY contact-staff moves.. I'll be making my own with LEDs all over it as a school project soon which shall be heavier and whatnot which will help with the main trick I'm doing (Matrix). This is one long comment...
