thanks so much! i'm learning korean and this really helped me ^^ oh and you sound like tiffany from snsd and you look like cl! hhahaa thank you so much! please continue to upload more videos :D
if my hypothesis is right, then it would be similar to how the chinese have litterally "1 day, 2 day, 3 day, etc" and then sunday which is litteraly "sun day"
Actually, as you said, although in Chinese it's literally "1 day, 2 day, etc" for weekdays, it's not the same for Korean or Japanese. The Chinese characters used for the days of the week in both Japanese and Korean are exactly the same for both languages.
Monday = Moon / Month
Tuesday = Fire
Wednesday = Water
Thursday = Tree
Friday = Gold
Saturday = Earth (as in dirt/soil)
Sunday = Sun / Day
and those are what the Chinese characters mean for the days of the week. I hope that helped :]
that's correct, if it is written in Chinese characters they are both written in the exact same way except that since the languages are different, they are pronounced completely differently. But they both mean the same thing essentially :)
Oh yeah... my point was, is Korean structured the same way? subject-object-verb? I know that's like, a lot of steps past what you are trying to teach slow people like me, but I am curious. :>
I love these. You are such a good teacher. Can you jump ahead one day and show us the structure? :) I’m not very smart and though I’m trying to learn Korean and Japanese, the Japanese is still giving me trouble with subject-object-verb as opposed to subject-verb-object. Not to mention the whole…not having all the words I’m used to in a sentence. Ouch, my head ^^
you are a very good teacher Sarah thumbs up . These are excellent videos . There is a grandmaster in tae kwon do whose middle name is il I always wanted to know how to pronounce it and now I do .Thank you

Very helpful is also your engagement in the phonetic spelling as it is written. So it is easier to understand for europeans for example.
I do very appreciate your efforts!
