I have a video for you, "Stonewall at 40". I'll give you the short version of my Gay Pride 2009. I live a few blocks away from Fifth Ave. (in a dump, of sorts). peace
I am an African-American bisexual man from Brooklyn, NY. My wife fully supports my lifestyle as a top with her, and a gay bottom with the fellows. I am willing to try a transexual as long as she's a top. Any takers since I take it up the tail??? I wish I was there so that I would've had a "gay" time too.
oh myyy. that looks like SO MUCH FUN! i've always wanted to go to new york pride. i live way down in texas =( so it's hard lol! i want to goooo! i'm lesbian, i heard lesbians dominated pride this year haha! i should've gone! great video.
My highlight had to be seeing Star Trek actor George Takei with his newly married partner. They seemed so happy. Congratulations to them both. Surely love is much of what it is about. All it is love and just wanting the same legal rights as others and not be penalised because your same sex love is treated differently under the law.
Mine too! I love Star Trek and when I saw him I started freaking out! I'm not gay, but most of my friends and some of my family are, so I am a huge supporter! It was my first Pride this year after many failed attempts to make it there in the past. I had the best time ever! Can't wait for 09! Happy Pride Everyone!
Thanks so much Fletcher for your comments. It was amazing. I just wish it was better publicised as are the Sydney and San Francisco ones. It was brilliant. Top class and still has that political edge. I had to call it a march and not a parade as the organisers want to emphasise that it is a march and not simply a parade and I wanted to give it its official title. It was great fun and I loved it. Well done to all those involved. Thank you all of you :)
You mean "march" as in the parade, not as in the month. This is ambiguous. Mardi Gras in March, Gay Pride is June. I know, but some people could get confused about the date thing... Looks awesome. It is so different as a daytime march. Not as flashy as Mardi Gras, yet somehow more purposeful. All cities do it differently. Thank Raoul. +^+^+ The Saint

I do not know. You will have to ask the organisers.
