The towers were tube design construction, just like a few other famous buildings build in the late 60s-70s. This idea maximized floor space. The outer tube consisted of the steel perimeter beams, the inner tube was the core. Has anoyone actually been to the WTC before? These building were amazingly strong. The floors were steel trusses, joists. Thin layer of concrete. Flexible and lightweight, very strong. These buildings were taken down - don't believe the shit the media feeds.

I don't have a problem with an investigation but do we need an investigation to be told the tons of steel and tons of concrete on every level of the WTC? How much steel was on the 81st floor that had to weaken in 56 minutes?

Do you need a PhD in physics and masters in engineering to know every level had to be strong enough support all levels above it? Didn't the designers in the 60s have to figure that out? So why haven't we heard it from EXPERTS in SIX YEARS?

In total it works out to about 8 combined feet that would have had to be weakened by less than 50% before the load shifting would no longer be handled considering the missing columns from the original impact.

No one knows the damage to the core columns of the south tower. FEMA, PBS and the BBC all disagree with the NIST about the plane hitting the core of the south tower. It looks like the nose of the plane is coming out of the north east corner of the tower just before the fireball goes off.

So it looks like the nose didn't go into the core like NIST says.

Well, I personally don't think the nose went throught the whole bldg, I think the nose itself would have pretty much been toast upon impact. The only thing that I think came out the other side was the engine (or part of) as well as some debris that was pushed out from being in front of the momentum of the moving engine

Exactly, the nose should have been destroyed on the initial impact. Find the video and take a close look. It does not look like an engine.

But if it is not the nose and not an engine then....

I just said, not the nose, part of the engine, it was found 3 blocks away. People saw it live fly through the air and land there. I find it hard to believe the theory of some that a truck pulled up, and a bunch of guys unloaded an engine and then surrounded it with crime tape, and no one on the street noticed, yet people there live saw it crash land there. I think it's pretty clear that it's the flying debris from the second crash

If the "nose" does not travel through the building, then what does?

Why does it matter if it has been "destroyed" when the mass that made up the part is still there and contains momentum?

Fast-moving can dent and even but steel, just like bent and twisted shards and particles of aluminum lumped together contain mass and momentum.

That was not the nose, it was just miscellaneous debris. This misconception is explained in detail on many websites. Just google it.

Architects and credibility, falling concrete are some things overlooked as well as annealed steel caused by slow cooling steel that had turned red hot and slowly cooled. Ask a blacksmith or gunsmith why the towers fell.
