Black Friday happens because america's non retail workforce has the day off after thanksgiving and takes that day to go shopping for Christmas. Same generally happens the last and second to last Saturday before Christmas. Nothing can be done to prevent it. If you force all stores to be closed on that Friday then it will just have a greater crowd then normal on another day.

The family was devastated by the loss of their good son. He was working. RIP Employee is all I can echo from someone else's comment. I was very sick when this happened and I didn't get a chance to send my condolences. It broke my heart. I boycott this event.

One has a sense of reasoning especially when it comes to things/stuff that we can do without, food is not something we can do without. Two different reasonings with the brain, you don't have to participate in this type of irrational behaviour, something different when your body goes into a preservation mode because it needs food. These stores every thanksgiving knows what will happen. To prevent this from happening is allow people to come in and forum a line a few hours before the stuff is handed out. These stores every thanksgiving knows what will happen. To prevent this from happening is allow people to come in and forum a line a few hours before the stuff is handed out. This would prevent alot chaos from happening plain and simple. But does the stores care?? No they don't . They only care about their money. Hopefully Walmart will learn from this and change their ways of doing things during Black Friday,

I'm going to be honest I feel sorry for the guy family who got killed by all this mess. But this ain't totally all the people fault. The main blame should be the store. Because the store should of aloud people to into the store and lineup instead of making them wait outside. But again some blame to the people and shame on them. But most of the blame should be laid on Walmart for not prepare better.

I'd just like to say, I am an American and I'm not proud that we have people like this in our country. I am NOT one of them. In fact, a lot of Americans are good people. But unfortunately, there are a lot of us who aren't. Like anywhere, I'm sure. Also, I have been shopping on Black Friday many times and I haven't treated anyone rudely bc of a "deal" and I have seen many many people out who aren't. I have shopped BF in Dallas, Tx and Louisiana (smaller town). Maybe it's northerners?
