  • Psh this is nothing, I can do this in my sleep! Haha. Okay in all seriousness though, this looks like fun if you know how and where to drop in. I wish I can try this soon (being from the East Coast, I haven't done anything harder than the bowls on Peak 7 summit and Imperial Bowl, although they were straightforward). Any thoughts on how to drop in on something like this?

  • Skiing= easier to learn, harder to master

Snowboarding= harder to learn, easier to master

  • @scski44 and this is why park draws in more snowboarders

  • those cornices at the beginning look nice. theres nothing like that at park city for sure

  • my friends brought me up there for my first run outside of the midwest.

  • @DivinityOfDoom u dont see a snowboard patrol do you?

  • ive seen that done switch

  • I do that switch....

  • lake chutes aren't that bad. the scariest part is the drop-in. its about a 8 or 9 foot drop to steepness. then it's only steep for like 600 or so feet. most people ski it, but me and my friends rode it everytime there was pow. if you have doubts about dropping or not don't hike the peak cause there's no other way down.

  • Skiers are fucking gay, it's almost like the rollerblading to skateboarding... Fucking fruitbooters

  • @DivinityOfDoom your a faggot

  • @DivinityOfDoom i love snowbaording but ski is not gay....its a shit load faster

  • @priya1985 I'm aware that it's faster, when I was a kid I was a skier because I didn't really know any better and grew up in gay ass yuppy prep squareville shithole by the name of Aspen... Then I moved over to Breck and realized what I had been missing out on all my life, awesome people and much more fun boarding and pissing off old gooks skiing

  • @DivinityOfDoom is it expensive to live in breckenridge

  • @DivinityOfDoom

    DERP

Skiing takes more balance, agility, and skill to master.

obvioulsy daddy and mommy didnt love you enough:)

    u mad?

  • @TH3xM3DIC I used to ski kiddo... I stopped when I was old enough to realize that you're all a bunch of douchebags

  • @DivinityOfDoom no way i realized the same thing about boarders!

dude we should chill some time.

  • @TH3xM3DIC I skied then i snowboarded... Snowboarding takes more skill, i still like skiing but skiing is so much more easy to balance since your not just strapped into one board facing sideways. My friend who snowboards, rented some skis for the day and was doing some crazy things for him not skiing in like 6 years, he did a ski slide first try ever and was flying down the black diamonds

  • @IMseanIsnowboard

    okay okay okay i'll behave....

but lets just agree skiing and snowboarding is equal. CUZ U BEIN RACIST BRAH!

  • @TH3xM3DIC yeah ik.. i love skiing and snowboarding. i dont think neither of them are gay or anything

  • @DivinityOfDoom

do you watch the xgames? Ive only ever snowboarded and I know skiing is not gay... have you seen bobby brown?

  • @gregspaul No, I don't watch the X Gaymes.... Maybe when I was a kid. I don't want to see that Shawn White bullshit

  • @DivinityOfDoom dew tour? do u like anything about winter sports or do you just like talking shit?

  • @gregspaul Snowboarding isn't a sport, at least I hate the assholes who say that it is

  • @DivinityOfDoom

    douche

  • Ski and have fun!! winter in almost here!! put the egos away!! love Breck and the Peeps of the town!! Anytime I find myself anywhere in Colorado and snow beneath my skis its a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

  • lol thats cool it sounds like one of those extreme ski videos

  • thats pretty sick!

  • def. not a no fall zone. If you fall here you probably say ouch and get up, roll 100 feet to the bottom at worst. No fall zone means if you fall, you die.

  • @coloradoskiauthority prove them wrong my making a video of u falling down it then

  • @coloradoskiauthority wait till your going down the fourth spine of wackys to tell me if you fall youl be fine.

  • Woohoo!! Gliding through some powder!

  • peak 7?? you're out of your mind. mellowest stuff you can find.

  • haha agreed

  • @jonathono2000

    @DJStatim

Lol, neither the burn or the windows are half as steep as the lake shoots. Peak 7 is pretty steep tho.

  • lol, "shoots" you're an idiot

  • or needles eye, even harder

  • The hike is pretty intense but then again I'm only 13 and it is 13,000 feet and oxygen is thin up there and I have bad asthsma

  • @MIRairsoft thatl do nothing but strenghten ur lungs, hopefully ur asthma will work itself out, looks like one hell of a good time

  • it is

  • shoulda popped some air off the cliff jumps. woulda been sick

  • that looks so effing scary.

  • @jonathono2000

    Or The Burn.

  • song???

  • that looks real fun. wonder how well they hold snow, or get wind blasted/bombed out after a storm. i

  • They hold a lot of snow - more than most of the mountain. There's almost always powder dropped by the wind because the chutes are on the leeward side.

  • sic, moving to brek in a week....pumped

  • ive been skiing seens i was 3 and i wanna do that, im so living in breckenridge

  • Where's that?

  • Ridiculous run....i only fell once the first time around!

  • ....did you get back up at the bottom?

  • my brother and i skied 3 times its tiring climbing up there.

  • i know its tiring as shit. the first time i tried it the winds were so hard i was scared to death that i would get like pulled off the peak

  • the Ranking for the trail is double black diamond EX (extreme terrain)

  • wow. thats amazing. what rating is the the run? like triple black?

  • Like woe, give me a parasuit b4 i go.!!

  • Very well put together. I love it. Thank you. I will share this with others.

  • this is the best part of brek!!!!!!!

i go up every weekend and ski it

the powder is perfact always but you have to get it on a perfet day or else it isnt much fun

  • I would never want to do that :O

  • The Chutes were awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • When I skied the lake chutes it was -10 degrees the wind chill was -24 it was so cold but so awesome!!!

  • Yeah, I did this with my buddy. When we first hiked up and got down to the chutes, we had no clue where to drop in. At one point I looked at my buddy and said,"This was stupid" as I peered over one of the cliffs. We finally found a reasonble place to drop in and came out the other end without a scratch. Needless to say, it wasn't impossible, but it was one of the hardest imbounds run I have ever done. It all really boils down to where you decide to drop in.

  • holy shiit

i skied that i swear to g-d im 12 yo

i did the easy street though which is still extreme terrain

i wana do zute chute this februrary. i was there this december and it was too windy to go up there. but i swear.

i have done devils crotch mine shaft windows (favorite! they are awesome) lift line (e chair) toms baby imperial bowl arts bowl 7 up goodbye girl mach 1 tiger dark rider mustang elan quiver trinity contest bowl horeshoe bowl

  • Agree, chutes are way harder than Windows. Depending on which line you take, this can be the steepest inbounds terrain in Summit/Eagle (too bad the vertical is so short). Some of OB terrian off to the side of Blue Sky at Vail comes close, but I think that's really closer to Breck's Windows. Unfortunately, you pretty much have to leave CO if you want runs like this with any decent vertical.

  • Totally disagree. Get out of Summit County- try Pitkin, Gunnison, San Miguel, and San Juan counties- all have resorts that have much more challenging terrain- with longer sustained vertical, and more technical lines. This is probably the steepest, patrolled, in-bounds terrain in Summit, but not in all of Colorado for sure (see "Western Slope").

  • Besides Aspen Highlands and Crested Butte, where are you talking about and what trails?

  • Righteous! cant wait to get back! just 2 more weeks..

  • what song is that

  • oh come on, the chutes are way harder than windows, I hate passing by the last part of em on the way to Snow White because it's such a huge cornice

  • next time try to straitline it a little more, that makes it a little more fun.

  • POZ-ZER

  • i meant say doors, not doord

  • i live at the base of breck. if your gona make an alpine ski vid, at least make it something harder than the chutes. dude those are like greens compared to doord, and needles, and windows is up there with them to.

  • Breck rules, Vail drools.

  • Breck is pretty sexy, but Vail's BOWLS are KING!

  • yaya, i agree 100%, breck has everything better than vail, except size, but breck blows vail away in park, which is my where i live, so i hate vail

  • Vail is so flat, and it doesn't even get above timberline

  • wowowow im goin there

  • that is very easy stuff

    and im 13

  • lets try and be more of a fag

  • that wud work if i wuz a guy =]

  • I go skiing also except in wisconsin at granite peak rib mountain. I am only 9 so i only go down easy double blacks

  • Hi guys, i was there last week, did Chutes, 7 Bowl, Whales Tail, Horseshoe, the expert pistes under lift E, and all those extreme stuff :D. I'm 13 ^^. This place is so Fuckin AMAZING!!! I wish i cud go every year, but im from Holland :(. greetz Leon

  • yeah i was just there presidents week. didnt do the lake chutes, but just staring at them from the access gate on top of peak 8 was an adrenaline rush. the cornice looked 10 feet or so when i was there (in the main chute). I did Imperial, Horeshoe, Cucumber, Contest, Whales Tail, and the Y-Chutes. The cornice on the Whales Tail was a little nerve racking and it was only 5 feet or so where I dropped in. I can't imagine what the Lake Chutes are like...

  • me and my brother 12 years old and 14 years old did lake chutes also. it was just a week ago, it wasnt as hard as i thought. the chute is the easiest part.

  • the only hard part is the cornice... do that when its a 15 footer and tell me your results

  • yea i went to windows while i was there is was really sweet there was a creek at the bottom of it i had to jump over

  • im hopefully going to breck next week, is there any sweet spots in lake chutes or anywhere else i should hit up

  • windows off the E chair if you're into tree skiing

  • those r fun

  • your shots are better than your skiers. next time you film something contact me.

  • Breck looks sick, Peak 8 and 10 are the best.Period!

  • I always enjoy a nice hike off chair 6 on a pow day.

  • Best Lake Chutes Vid i've seen. Now I have something to prove to my friends that the cutes really are as nuts as I tell them

  • Cool vid. It's one of our favorites ...
