    The Nineties.......

  • I think of all the acid noodlings you've done on here this one is the best. Nice work man.

  • really great sequence ;)

like your way of working ;)

  • lovely crunchy snare drum xD killer synth performance

  • OLD SKOOL Analogue ACID at it's BEST - LOVE IT! ;-)

  • Awesome, I want to get into modular but am afraid of the cost and wouldn't know where to start.

Is there a good site I check what a good starter setup would cost ? ie case power etc etc ?

    Love it!

  • @H4NDCRAFTED Join up at muffwiggler forum lots of info there

  • i just posted this on FB cuz its so rad.

  • this is fresh, man.

very nice range of sounds and performance dynamics.

  • If you dont mind me asking, roughly how much would this setup cost?

  • well done, enjoyed it. we need more vids like this.

fed up with all those glitchy, noisy modular demos that don't go anywhere...

    ...i'm off to schneiders's! ;)

  • nice ;D

  • any chance of a list of the modules used as I've just bought the same case with 7 basic modules.

  • @mutantmoments A155, 2x A110, A117, A143-3, A147, A138, A103, A124, 2x A131

  • cheers, wonderful sound from such a compact (for a modular) system

  • wonderful job mate.

  • Mate, you are still by far my favourite DJ on the internet and this video just re-enforces that fact. Keep it up!

  • a DJ uses disks.

  • I'm tired of people calling musicians who compose, perform, and produce original music DJs.

DJs play other people's prerecorded music. They may mix them in interesting and original ways, and it does take skill to do well, but the fact is that they're not creating their own music.

I'm not saying one is better or worse, just that they're different.

  • @johnisfaster

What does a DJ do to disks? Jockey them?

  • Wow, all those sounds came from that one analogue synth, cool :)

  • how did u make the hihats? actually sounds like the 606 ones.

  • @STINKOPOOP 6osc output from A-117 into a hpf :)

  • wow... you really know your modular! i have now a neckache!

  • Sicker than a swine flu victim. Love it, nice work.

  • Shouldn't work on any level, but this sounds great with the Mariah Carey Someday accapella over the top of it.

  • Heh, pretty cool

  • ohhh my god, das ist modular synth :D

  • Very impressive!

  • quality stuff man. I'm getting some serious Berlin vibes here!

That extra percussive note that comes in at 4:15 was just great, it blends perfectly with the groove but it doesn't last long :P

  • NASTY!...

  • I can live with that. So , what's the 'squidgiest' and most acidic? The A-103?

  • siiiiccckkkkk

  • Nice patch. What Doepfer module number is the VCF you twiddle at around 1:45? Is it the A-120? Thanks.

  • Its the A-103 303 filter

  • Thanks - I'm adding that to my wish list. I have the A-102 Diode filter and it's nowhere near as 'squelchy'.

  • jazz!

  • Great patch, very nice work.

  • The Doepfer is amazing

  • awsome! I wish I could do that stuff too :/

  • awesome, looks like fun.

  • Cool, is the hihat and clap (white noise generator if I'm not mistaken) coming from the same module?

  • I used a 808 source for the hat and random clock noise for the clap.

  • How do you afford all of your gear??

  • Well I change it around a lot, a lot of the gear in my earlier videos has been sold. Plus I don't really buy other stuff or go out much LOL

  • thank you
