  • LOOOVVEEE this video..... have adored Tommy since the tender age of 12......almost 45 years later nothing has changed.... except that he's still all he was when I first saw him in The Happiest Millionaire...and SOOOOOOO incredibly much more now. Age can't diminish him... he still has that heart-hugging grin and eyes that reach into your soul.....

  • I saw him last night in Salford - in Scrooge. He was truly magnificent. A legendary performer.

  • The presenters are somewhat pedestrian and banal.. (despite the cackling floor-crew) Tommy Steele needs a proper programme being interviewed by an astute interviewer who can draw out the tastiest morsels of his memory

  • @Lytton333 Totally agree. Why all most interviews on TV as light as this? It needs a Mark Lawson.

  • Thanks heaps for posting this, great stuff.

  • great clip, but the female presenter was struggling a bit between two sharp characters, no..? Anyway, thanks for posting, truly enjoyable!

  • i seen him in Scrooge

  • Pity he wasn't asked about the supposed time he showed Elvis around London!!

  • FINIANS RAINBOW <3 <3 <3

  • We are lucky to have him, lovely man.

  • Tommy's a distant cousin of mine, and he now looks just like my late Great Aunt. Same red hair, and slim physique.

  • @TheLinz78 Red hair? Slim, yes, but Tommy's blonde.... I'm a redhead and my hair js nowhere near as fair as his.

  • Oh my darling Tommy my fist real love :) saw him manny times live. Also twice in singing in the rain at the palladium sigh!!! Amazing breath taking . Thank you

  • saw scrooge in plymouth tonight! tommy was absolutely incredible!!!

  • OMG! Mr.Steele..You changed a bit.

  • what youth tonic is this man drinking?

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! Though I've never been able to see much of the talented Mr Steele's work (other than "The Happiest Millionaire" & "Half a Sixpence), I've always thought he was a charming, entertaining & talented chap. He certainly comes across as a nice, humble and down to earth fellow. THANKS for posting this! You've MADE my day & my week! CHEERS, mate! :)

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • @zaniac1000 He sure is fantastic - always liked him but let me tell you I saw Sir Cliff in concert here in N.Z. a year ago and he's no slouch that's for sure !! His fitness and energy levels were absolutely incredible as were those of the Shadows. Everyone was blown away by the show they put on.

  • He's the sweetest butter-sugar cup of England.Great artist wherever you line up a hundred A-class ones.

  • I have loved him since I was 16. I used to sit in the theater and watch Half A Sixpence all day, the only fan letter I ever wrote I wrote to him and he wrote me back!! Loved him since I was 16 love him now at 59.
