Again,I'm noticed pitched/keen noise from Microsoft LifeCam Cinema microphone.I watched more then 7 reviews of this camera,here in youtube,and always I heard this pitched/keen noise.

i notice that in all the reviews i have seen on this camera i hear a high pitches noise in the background

I think it's something to do with the noise-cancelling. If you notice, there is never any other background noise like computer fans and airflow. I can deal with the high-pitched noise ;)

Is there any way of turning off the noise-cancelling, making the high-pitched noise disappear?

Also, is there any way of using my regular microphone (connected to my soundcard) in Skype and MSN at the same time as using this camera? In the guysfromqueens review, he says that it can only use the build-in microphone...? :O

From what I've seen, the microphone limitation is due to the software Microsoft supplies with the LifeCam. Other software allows you to use another mic. Check out the youtube review at El_vyOn_Zm4 to see a review using another mic.
