I love this song because it takes me back to a time when my life made more sense than it does today and I was much happier. I was in college and had a wonderful girlfriend and the prospects of a beautiful future ahead of me so it was a great time to be alive. But as often is the case, all this changed and it took me several years to pull myself out of that hole I fell into. But the song was there for me and to this day some 30 plus years later, it still fills me with hope of what can be.
