  • dude is good!

  • Merci, sifu.

  • most practical iv seen in a long time

  • @KCNARF29

Tu as bien appris ta leçon, c'est bien.

  • damn iwant to learn those throws...but it just looks like it needs to be perfect timeing to pull of

  • @XLRO8 Nah san shou is a close to real fighting as you can get. So his timing is going to be a little off because it's not cherographed.

  • @XLRO8 you will learn that no matter what style, timing eventually becomes the critical factor in a fight

  • super taiji demonstration

  • WOW!

  • AManAnd88Keys. You have a valid point.

  • I really like this one. Aside from the movies about Tai Chi. This demonstration is pretty good. Short yet good. I'll be looking for more.

    Thank You !

  • gooooooooooooooooooooooooooodaxsz

  • That application just show example how to take people down. In real life...once you touch your enermy...that touch must be deadly. Not just o throw people around like that. One of my masters once says " can't let your enermy continue while you touch him or her...every puch is count b/c you are lossing your energy so not to wast your energy while touching".

  • @ncigntujyang it's true that you're losing energy, but tai chi is kind of like a no effort "no strength req" fighting form, the energy loss would be far less then the aggressor so throwing an enemy around won't nearly be as tiring. also taichi is about deturance, you break the enemy's arm they won't want to fight anymore. look at the wrist locks used "the attackers drop down because it's just demonstration" in real life their wrists would be damaged. it only takes 1 good hit to deter an enemy

  • As soon as things get fast, his shoulders and neck seem quite tensed. Maybe he wasn't feeling that comfortable?

  • you're demonstrations are brilliant

  • Great use of inside circles.

  • I'm starting to learn wujiquan,It's nice to see real art's,How the body just flow's......FANTASTIC.

  • tre bon!

  • hes pretty good

  • very good! I don't say that too often about youtube taiji people, but this fellow is quite good.

  • Great demonstrations, merci!

  • he just use less energy to counter attack....amazing

  • Is this chang dzu yao form?

I thing first peng lu is, probably, dangerous to applicate, becouse leaves left enemy's arm free and able to punch if is an able fighter... but all the rest of demonstration is very funny! tankyou.

    sorry my not correct english

Very nice applications of tjq in real life. Thank you for the video.

  • Great demonstration on Taiji. Very seldom that I see an application dealing with 2 opponents. Looks a little like Akkido except that the master uses one of the opponent as a weapon on the other.

  • this sifu seems well rooted and exhibits great balance and accuracy in his movements. extremely valuable.

  • Notice how everybody on Youtube is a expert martial artist or kung fu master just waiting to critique someone's video. If not its some MMA fan saying why doesn't the person in the video do MMA if their style works, as if MMA sparring is the ultimate test. I always thought real experts were humble and not so quick to critique someone other than their own disciples.

  • @abshalom7 Great comment. I'm getting really sick of people acting like MMA is the pinnacle of martial arts. It's not; it's a sport.

  • @ZhuangziZhou and a piss poor sport at that.

  • There are so many error its not even funny

  • a little unreal but marks for trying.

  • why pretend that you are soft when you are not?

  • if what happen is one of them is holding a weapon ??? stick or knife ?

  • that last part was defenetly not choreographed

  • HOLY SHIT!!!

  • well done i must said that ..

  • Really exceptional!! Finding a handful of Taijiquan masters who excel in the close quarter/tuishou range is difficult enough. But, finding some one who can realistically apply the 108 form in combat is almost impossible. Master Wong (combat tai chi) is another one. These men truly understand their own systems, as well as, other fighters' systems.

  • ain't nuthin' like a good choreographed fight scene, sheesh

  • Actually, it might be lol. Sorry lol.

  • Another beginner's comment... GJC

  • P.S. A great practitioner's movements are smaller, more compressed, thicker, and will "take up the slack" in his fluffy, elongated applications. GJC

  • I liked it! I think you must look at the Spirit of the techniques clygar and that the only one you should be concerned with defeating is yourself Amitoufuo!!

  • This would ONLY work on a beginner who cooperates. Try it on me. Gary J. Clyman, Chicago!

  • Tres bien! Merci!

  • mervelleux!

  • good.

  • He's kicking it Seagal style.

  • Françuskis:::

very good indeed!! très bient jouex!!!

    muito bacana!!!

Du Brésil, avec les meilleurs felicitaciones Bresilienes

  • ben fatto!

  • are you guys crazy? This man rocks! Could you do even a half of what he does here???..

    Good master.

  • I really enjoyed the randori-like free-response at the end. Personally, I rarely train this fast, because I'm always looking for feeling and think it may get lost in speed, but your body mechanics appear very good for the most part. The only thing I don't like is that you turn your back on opponents now and again. Other than that, I thought the applications were nice.

  • Stance, schmance...alignment to the ground is what's important, not what angle the feet are at. If this guy can root and get power to and from the ground, he can put his feet anyway he wants.

  • first of all the stance is not even correct...yang tai chi stresses the 45 degree stance where the two feet are either 45 degrees or 90 degrees apart, the guy got what appears to be a poorly imitated hung gar horse stance, and he has absolutely no alignment with his hip

  • Great, the 108 traditional Yang form is the one we're studying. It's so difficult to recognize it's practical use, but this video makes it a lot more interesting. It's good to see the stomachpunch in action, this is probably the silliest part in the choreography :)

    Merci.

  • Great video!

  • this is very poor demo. It make tai chi looked bad!
