Anything that begins must end. I think the problem ppl have is how. As long as it is fast and not painful I really don't care. There is evidence that Nuclear war has happened before. In India there is the proof in glass like radioactive sediment like from the bomb. This is just another cycle and we have rediscovered what has been discovered before. Life would go on as it always has. Just many of us won't be here to see it go on. Read the book "Soul Survivor" though. Hope is still there.

its not whos got the most, its the delivery system thats most important, most of russias nukes are on the back of trucks, that can be easily detected and destroyed b4 they launch, most of USA nukes are on nuclear submarines that are hard to detect and can be anywhere anytime america could destroy china in about 1hour if it wanted to and it could destroy all of chinas nukes b4 they launched them.

i would have 1 sub with 5 nukes , than 50 nukes in my basement with no way of deploying them!

Umm, about trucks you mentioned, they are like terrorists they can hide anywhere and it doesn't matter if you shoot the truck after launch. And for more Nuke missiles fly out of atmosphere and you cant shoot them by conventional ways. You can shoot them by patriots but there is not enough patriot to do that.( Russia has 16.800 nukes half ready to launch) Patriots way more advanced and expensive than Missiles carrying Nukes :) At least more than Russian ones :D
