I like how Phil Esposito said that Bobby Orr was the "best defenseman ever" instead of "best player ever". I guess he reserves that accolade for himself :/
@oehieze - actually, if you read Espo's Autobiography, he calls it even. But then again, Esposito does not want to point-out the fact that he never scored as much pre-Orr and post-Orr in his career, because that detracts from his sense of ego. WG played 21 seasons and Orr played about 9, and yet he self-interestely ranks them even. Makes you think, eh ? Go to the video of Espo's Sweater Retirement ... and you'll see that he calls Orr the greatest - and this was during WG's prime.
