I just started reading Spawn and these stories are WAAAAAAY better written than the ones McFarlane wrote. (Although I don't like the dead time in between the voice actor's sentences. Gets sort of anoying)

Crossovers hardly count with the mainstream series. Also, both Batman and Spawn were horribly written out of character in that comic. If Batman appeared in Spawn's comic, Spawn wouldn't even notice Batman beating him up due to his necroplasmic armor and skin, not to mention he's stronger than Spiderman(who would break Batman like a twig) and is massively skilled from his days as a CIA assassin.
