@Quix2117 rock and roll blues and other grenre started wiht blacks incoraprating gospel rythm and good beats. elvis was king only because he was the first rock and roll artist that was legitimate in the publics eyes at the time and elvis cites a good about of credit to black gospel and blues as his influence. because white didnt like rock at the time since it was seen as wild and sexual. then rock and roll died due as teh grenre became more white washed and lost the original rythm.
