Here in Toronto and surrounding area we have no problems. If the New Madrid fault had a major Earthquake in Mid-US we would feel it but no problems. We sometimes have 5-6 magnitude Earthquakes near the Quebec-Ontario border but it's EXTREMELY rare and it doesn't do anything really.
