The best ones are usually unintentional. This girl was yapping about how she didn't like the way she looked, fishing for a compliment. I said that I thought she was pretty in "her own" way. She of course asked me to clarify, and I said "don't get me wrong, you're pretty to me, I can just see how a lot of guys wouldn't think you were.", later blaming it on people's priorities (tits, ass), and saying I wasn't all about that. Made her know I saw beauty in her, without making her feel beautiful.

The most common mistake is that guys think the goal is to insult. The goal is actually to compliment, but just to do it in a way that leaves their egos a bit unfulfilled, and perhaps confused as well. A classic: nice hair/nails, are they real? Tell them you enjoy talking to them, and think you could become good friends. This makes it look like you're a nice guy not just trying to get into their pants, while also making them think "what's wrong with me that he only wants to be my friend?"

I can totally relate to what he is saying, and I am a fail on all of these rules. Although this is primarily aimed at the club scene, I think the rules can be helpful in any situation really. I don't do clubs as i don't like the music and getting into fights, but I will definitely take this advice on board.

I was at a spot playing soul music last week and I was just chilling, sitting down enjoying and observing the scene and listening to the music. Their are times when I don't want to always be talking to someone. However I did observe some people looking at me like what's wrong with him? I was just chilling and listening to the music but people can be weirded out by the relaxed person at a club. It's odd.

If she finds out your not creepy, then her brain says "Oh, hes not creepy, he just has no confidence to approach women and had to spend 10 minutes trying not to throw up." This is why going to clubs alone is only good for calibrating (going into sets with no real goal of anything but practice/crash and burn for the learning) unless you are confident, experienced and being a PUA is really enjoyable to you. The problem with the party was that it was in a garage with too many people (kinda of a sausage fest too) and if I wanted to go to spot where I wanted to talk I would end up in a high traffic spot where I would have to keep moving in order for someone else to move.

I know I should try not to be goal oriented but how else am I suppose to make something occur without giving it some level of focus?

I've been told I'm a good looking guy, and I think I'm slowly starting to believe it myself. I have just recently lost about 40-50lbs of fat, and I used to be heavier in the past, so it's been tough. Yo, I love to eat too and I work out, so I feel what you're saying. What you do is have a pig out day once a month or maybe every two weeks if you work out a lot. If you work out 45 min - 1 hour 3-4 times a week, then just stick to once a month. If you're a gym rat or an athlete. Every two weeks. Just make a list of junk you want to eat and on that day go for it! It feels almost as good as sex. You get what you want and you dont risk gaining weight cause you're going to burn it off. RNU4Life

Hahaha. I dont hate shy people. It's actually a fact. Watch biographies of serial killers on A&E. It's all over Youtube. The reason why I used this example is because women are creeped out by guys who are too quiet. If they aren't creeped out then they just won't be interested because timidness shows a lack of confidence. This is mostly in loud settings like clubs and bars. At a coffee shop or store, you don't have to be all that loud.

It's all about context man. If you say it like an asshole, then you come off as an insult and insult her. That comment is meant to be said in a joking/teasing manner. I use a lot of ballbusting comments like that because it lets me know if a woman has a sense of humor and doesn't take herself too seriously. It's great for screening. You would never say this comment to a woman who has low self esteem or doesn't actually have any friends.

When you are a PUA you MAKE SURE that you have everything straight. Openers, negs, & DHV's are created in reasonable numbers and the ones that work you memorize so you are set when talking to women. We experiment with methods at times but one thing a true PUA knows is that social value is IMPORTANT. A real PUA doesnt sacrifice their social value for anyone, not a model, not a friend; thats that. Check out Mystery Method, he'll explain everything. That's where i learned the basis of being a PUA.

Jester brings up some great points. He briefly touched on something I have a huge pet peeve about. When you're in a group, and have a drink in hand, don't hold it at chest level or at stomach level. That's a defensive sign, makes you seem uncomfortable; hold the drink with one hand at your side, it leaves you open and shows your confident. You have nothing to hide.
