  • Manatee that got ran over by a boat

  • Whale in shallow water trying to get unstuck.

  • it just looks like a large fish or whale

  • I just saw the monsters quests episode with this monster in it holy shit

  • Dewgong or manatee with a injured tail.

  • @hatever Manatees don't splash like that, and dewgongs live in Asia, this was taken in Florida...

  • Manatee with a propeller-damaged tail. Looks like he might be doing the deed.

  • @lalunadawn that a huge ass manatee

  • @DocSicnarf Hi. They are really big. I had the pleasure of diving with them last November in Florida. Our guide said some get 8-10 loong. I'm a pretty big person and one came up right under me and, according to my snorkeling buddy, dwarfed me. I fyou ever get a chance, do it. It was an amazing experience. Also, contrary to one of the other posters, we saw several flop their tails above the water during our few hours. there.

  • Since Manatees het hit alot by boat props Id have to say this is a Mantee tail was hit by a boat prop.

  • manatee

  • No loch ness monster you can't have my tree fitty

  • its a mermaid bro

  • dude thats a shark dude ! lmao

  • hydropholus opterichtx.

    manatee.

    sea mermaid.

    seejungfrau.

  • It's a mammal... At 0:35 you can see the tip of it's nose blowing air out...

  • There is actually more to this footage where it shows tge animals head and eyes.

  • No aquatic mammal acts like this. The deeply forked, symmetrical tail would indicate a large fish, on it's side, in severe distress from injury or sickness. I don't know if this was in fresh, or salt water, but the skin seems smooth, so a scaly tarpon, or carp is out of the question. My money is on a large blue, or channel catfish. Lack of visible lumps would rule out a sturgeon.

  • first off, point of view people.....it's not that big when you get what angle he's looking at with the leaves and waves

second off, it's just a really big catfish

  • manatee have a thick round type tail not fin like no abnormal definition either it has equal sides and shape cant think of any sea fish with tail that shape

  • prehistoric manatiee relative

  • MILOTIC!

  • 0:36 - Look carefully at where the "head" should be (if it was a dolphin). Spray of water not from the splashing tail. It's obviously a river dolphin.

  • idk...maybe a FUCKING manatee

  • @jspen14 yes, manatee are like... 30 ft long. haha

  • @Toytrainsontracks what do u think it is then since you think that an animal we all know exists isnt it...haha

  • parece rollo delfin o algo asi

  • or a huge fish

  • it is a seal

  • Thats the Krandaleoth.

  • อะไรหว่ะ

  • It's a not so clever fake. No ripples on the water--that thinng should be kicking up all sorts of water turbulence. Think of a motorboat doing stuff like that--a wake, for instance. And the splashes don't hit water anywhere. Also something doesn't look right at 0:42. Nice try though.

  • Damn!

  • thats chuck noris's goldfish

  • I think its a seal. At 0:35, it "blows" out water.

  • Comment removed

  • now that is real

  • thats not a sea monster it look like a whale but its to small to be that so its a manate

  • little mermaid :D lol

  • Fuck my seal got into the cocaine again.

  • :O thats SO cool :D could it be an Oarfish?I think it was a chinchila.

  • its probably some hydrogenic distortion combined with a solar flare and swamp gas

  • its a fish

  • @mexvj ,Alrighty then I'll take the bait and what kind of fish.

  • @Leowen2 I'd say it a species of fish.

  • @claymoredeath creative

  • come on this a seal ..

  • seal

  • River dolphin?

  • It looks like a Du gong or river cow.

  • It looks like a a very large fish.

  • might be a river dolphin.

  • @quinteiro123 Monsterquest said it's some sort of whale. Not a beluga whale, I can't recall exactly what they called it. But they had pictures of what it could be after they showed the head of this creature (the one in the video). Or the snout. Still.. if I saw that thing when I was swimming I'd run on water to get back to land :) I don't believe in Lochness, but I also would not step foot in that lake.. it's just the stigma alone that creeps me out. "WHAT IF." :)

  • I saw this footage in it's entirety and it sure is weird how on the video there are more than one and all the tales are identical. so think before you speak

  • This exact video was on both History Channel's Monster Quest and SyFy's Fact or Faked! This is a mating ball of manatees. There are more than one creatures here which is why you can see multiple fins. This has been explained guys.

  • W8 Pause im Going to get my pokeball To catch gyarados >:) I knew pokemon Was Real ahhaa

  • the other person was right, its a manatee who's tail was cut by a propelor, it happens all the time, most manatees have scars from them.

  • just a damn fish look at that it's clearly a large fish.

  • nice editing

  • @reillyboy100

no way that's a seal! sorry, but I disagree...

  • It's probably just a Manatee with a butchered tail.

Unless................. it isn't and is actually a CRYPTID!

This video is a real find!

  • eeeeehhhhh, i cant really tell if its real or fake. i mean the splash is there....

  • If you stop at around 0:19 there appears to be a small dorsal fin on the animal's back. I really doubt its a manatee!

  • Comment removed

  • WHAT? NO POKEBALL >___<?

  • its prolly some fat ass chick thinking shes a mermaid

  • Definitely a pinniped, probably a phocidae because it has no ears.

  • its my penis

  • its a herd of mating manatees and that is a deformed tail =P google it

  • A mutant elephant seal ;p

  • Manatee ou Peixe-boi ...

  • group of fish one got stuck on a sand trap

  • I can tell this is a fake, if this was an actual creature, and it was being that "jumpy" you'd see more of the creature, not just the tail

  • @Scorpion107 It is a creature. This ain't an animatronic creature from Disneyland.

  • @Scorpion107 you fucking dum ass its not the whole video he jus took parts in which the tail was showing

  • Peixe-Boi of Brazil!

  • It's a mutated sea cow

  • It was taken in Florida I believe Marco island look for monster quest history channel Florida sea monster

  • its look MERMAID

  • iam searching Unknown Sea Monster ... I watch this video in NATIONAL GEORAPHIC (Beast Hunter) Unknown Sea Monster... .. i know Many Unknown Sea Monster, Not Found more in Earth.

  • Where was this video taken?

  • It's a manatee with a mangled tail...from either a propeller or a gator.

  • and if you dont belive it could be then your on drugs.

a male leopard seal can reach over 17 feet in length and over 1000 pounds.

they eat anything including other seals.

they mostly live in the southpolar regions but this group has clearly found warmer waters.

THE TAIL OF A LEOPARD SEAL MATCHES. ps.

  • ITS A LEOPARD SEAL go google it....

  • manatees dont have that kind of explosiveness, they are a docile creature who glides through the water rarely do they ever flip and splash like this. Imo this is some crazy shit lol.

  • or a mermaid

  • its a manatee

  • grapes are good mmkay

  • believe it or not i believe this video and person who made it :)

  • wrong. its ariel!

  • could be a real long mermaid.right.

  • could be a real long mermaid.right.

  • thats just a fish.... a big one

  • might be real because no animal has 2 tails

  • @2mermaidfriends or one tail injured by a boat prop...its a manatee

  • Call in a pokemon master!!

  • anyone with half a brain can tell you that this is no manatee.

  • TRAINER threw a pokeball! .... Oh no! The Pokémon broke free! Wild Gyarados fled! Aww damn it...

  • @HBvideoproductions why do people alwase have to make a pokemon referance on videos about cryptids? it annoying...

  • Shh! The Garidos sneaks up on the magicarp... OH It got away.

  • @SyoranTheMighty ok your like the 3rd person... my question is.. why do people alwase have to make a pokemon referance on videos about cryptids? it annoying...

  • thats a river dolphins mating..moron!

  • it's curios becoause it has 3 fins..noone of fishes and mammals have these

  • 3. To those who are using the argument that it is "too big to be a manatee", how large do you think it is? I see no objects of known size in the frame to use as a reference to judge the animal's size.

    4. From the brief glimpse of the animals face we get I can say that it does look a little odd. From what I can see it looks like a manatee but much narrower and more defined. To me it looks like an emaciated manatee

  • A few points.

    1. Just because there is no manatee on record that matches the description it does not mean that such an animal does not exist.

    2. While it is possible that it is a misplaced seal it is very unlikely, and as someone who spends a lot of time around seals I can say that the way this animal moves is not like a seal. Seals move in a very fluid fashion unlike this animal which seems rather clumsy.

  • who's that pokemon?????????????????????

  • At 0:36, you can clearly see the head emit spray from its nostrils. The head is quite slender or more tapered than a manatee-almost reminds me of the profile of a crocodile or hippo in the water. Personally, I think it is a seal or whale of some sort. pretty cool and scary at the same time.

  • why dont u guys open your eyes?? i know that you guys know its not a manatee. its too big to be a manatee. lets just accept the fact that there are still monsters that lurks the face of the earth....

  • Manatees are notorious for getting hit by boats, this one looks to have is back flipper cut into thirds

  • i think its a manatee mating who was had its tail hit and deformed by a boat propeller.

  • fake. it's doing the same thing over and over again

  • IT` S KYOGRE!!!!!

  • clowns, its a carp

  • Its a large carp, tailing. I bowfish for them all the time and this is how you find them.

  • its just a manatee tail choped by a boats motor

  • It's a MERMAN!

  • That might be a gar. Idk but if thats really a sea monster thats really cool.

  • actually this is real... i saw in side this center they were talking about thins

  • put a bait in the water

  • That kinda looked like a Suchomimus!

  • IT'S A FUCKING GARADOS

  • Give me a pickle, lotion and a llama.....i'll find out what the hell that thing is quick

  • @Tezarious lmao

  • no guys your all wrong.......its a mermaid

  • umm its prob some sort of whale or somthing

  • at 0:36 it looks as if the creature would blow out some water in the air as sea mammals use to do... maybe its a whale that lost its way

  • aint no manatee man looks like a fishy lol
