shes great she debbie but her voice is gone. That is so sad because she had one of the most beautiful voices pop has ever known. Maybe it was all the years of broadway? It takes alot to project through a theater. Her high notes are painful to listen to as she tends to screach them. poor deb. well she recorded some great songs when her voice was there. she sounds like shes mimicking herself.

I want to say that she still has her voice but that her change in singing style doesn't flatter her voice. She used to have such a pure voice but now she has a tendency to overdo the vibrato and over-stylize her voice rather than just sing straight-forward like she used to do. Must be from all her Broadway work! She looks gorgeous though and has lots of presence.

If you look at Retrolicious 2010 , Debbie Gibson Electric youth fort canning hill, singapore, you'll see she mentions meeting the backup band the night before. She wasn't lieing because you can see them using cheet sheets so it's not like they 100% knew her stuff. They sound amazing considering they had a day to get the bugs out.

She definitely has a different sound to her voice since getting older. She used to really play the hell out of this song when she was young(er), and there was a hell of a sax part that really made the song what it is . . . totally missing from this rendition :(

There's a performance she did of this song here, in-concert, and it was amazing. If you watch it you'll see a HUGE difference. Still lover her tho :)
