The rent is 80000 (approx $810.00) a month for one of the rooms, plus some extra for hydro and what-not, but it's not significant. At the moment no one else is renting the other room... fine by us! The real bonus is the backyard... try and find a private backyard in a Tokyo apartment. Of course, anyone who rents to other room won't have it so lucky as they don't have a patio door - only a window. If they want to use the backyard they have to crawl out their window. Hah !Hah!!
And our location is great - Oimachi - one stop from Shinagawa station on the Keihin Tohoku line. And via the Keihin Tohoku Line, we're in Akihabara in 10+ minutes, Yokohama in 17 minutes - in the opposite direction. On the Rinkai Line from Oimachi we're on Odaiba island in 7 minutes, and in the other direction, Shibuya in 10 minutes, Shinjuku in 13 minutes. Can't beat that. Do you live here - plan to live here?
