-just go onto this property and claim it for yourselves and use a load of well articulated statements about eco-awareness and education as a way to palm it off. Im all for greener solutions and havent come here to conduct some form of hateful rant, although Im sure Ill get some form of attack back. As someone who respects how a society functions and also a resident of Kingston having to traverse past Ravens Ait almost daily, I actually find this highly disrespectful and upsetting.

Just out of interest, wouldnt it be more productive to get a job, for example in the public service sector, and give a portion of your wages to eco-charities.

Then you would be providing for both the community and also helping towards eco-solutions, but without draining the taxes of people already over taxed and aggravating the local population.

Claiming that you are providing a service to the community is just plainly wrong, the island is leased out by the council and brings in revenue for the council which pays for recyling and community projects. you are not able to offer anything to OUR community. you have No water qualifications, No insurance, No useful skills. All you are providing for our community is a hot spot for trouble, a magnet for undesirables. DO OUR COMMUNITY A FAVOR AND F**K OFF.
