How ironic that your user name ends in "fool! " I don't know if you realize who the driver is, but it is Danny Sullivan winner of the Indianapolis 500 in 1985! Trust me Danny knows cars and could drive this this V6 Mustang with one hand around the track faster than you could in any car, period! He is correct in stating that most cars lean toward understeer for safety reasons. I suggest you learn how to drive at track before running loose at the lips.
We chose a bone stock V6 Mustang convertible because it is more representative as an "average" car than the V8GT. No doubt the V8 would be faster, but we wanted something more pedestrian and average to compare to the S7 Supercar.
Europeans make excellent cars. say ferrari, bugetti, lamborghini, audi.... but man oh man this saleen just runs circles around them... it is more better in drag and cornering than an enzo... My god, what I wouldn't give to seat my broke rear end in this car.... :(
if you just buy a gt2 all your handling problems will be solved.... but id take a mustang over most american sports cars...never liked the camaro but there newest concept looks killer
its a v6... you could let it drag on the ground and it would handle, the v6 dosent have nearly enough power to break the wheels loose like the v8, so all the sliding from the gt and the shelby kinda gose out the door, because torq is a factor to when it comes to handling
I agree with this comment, there are some good modifications out there that are not that bad.... for 60" handlening standards is you lisnt to the video you would have heard a reference to this.

Well, I admit I was quite flippant, so I am definetly agreeing with you. Not every one can make a Saleen, but anyone can get a Metro and give it a big turbo, hehe. I've done that, and I don't suggest anyone else do it in the future without purchasing a metal head gasket.

Like the GT500 is worth the price tag? Mustang is junk. Only good American car from the Big-3 is the Vette.
Saleen is its own thing, I wouldn't really count them in the big game, however, the S7 is obviously amazing.
