@DarthViper3k Well I guess you're just accustomed to the original Gene Kelly version which is more of a baritone range for the melody. This is adapted for SSATTB group, with melody on top (aka Soprano which makes for better voice-leading). While that makes it more effective for a vocal ensemble, I can understand if you're not used to that, especially since I'm not a girl, haha and my falsetto isn't the strongest lead voice.

hey Andy...wonderful job....ever consider trying some of the deeper harmony? I mean like 7pt harmony w/o using so many octaves.....more like the different notes of a piano chord. push urself for all ur fans...try some piano chords.

@bigblueowx Are you referring to cluster chords? For this arrangement it doesn't work so much I think, but I do like the sound (ever listen to Eric Whitacre's arrangements?) Most of the "tutti" voicings in this arrangements are spread voicings, so no doubled notes, but spread over a few octaves, which is a nice texture that really adds size. Thanks for the idea, I'll keep it in mind with my own arrangements.

Ab Eb Gb Bb Db F Ab. only 1 note is an octave. just to give u an idea of thick chording w/o a lot of octaves.

I can use these 7pt chord types even w/o a single octave. NOt grand standing... just sharing..

That ending made me jump out of my skin! I'm just sitting there, just snapping my fingers and enjoying this song. Then, all of a sudden, everything just stops, and the face lash out angrily at me. Have to admit, i was a bit shaken up there, but enjoyed the song all the same. You do a good job covering the scales here, and give a great perormance. Also, the second time watching this wasn't anywhere near as frightening as the first time. Bravo to you:)
