@Influx27 Ive heard it said on the Abbott and Costello show when someone is surprised or taken aback etc. Took me a while to figure what the song was on about but im pretty sure thats its meaning as shes talking about the words he uses throughout.
@hablerz That show ran from '52-'54. Not quite the time period when I think this song came out. I guess it's close enough though.
Still, What kind of boyfriend would ever yell out something like "Murder" after kissing his girlfriend?! He sounds like the dumbest and socially the worst boyfriend possible.
@18valval Only thing is, this is not a '50s song. Betty Hutton introduced "Murder He Says" (a song custom crafted to match her explosive style) in the 1943 film "Happy Go Lucky." Inexplicably, Betty's version did not become a hit. Instead, it was this much more low-key, honey-toned rendition (Victor 1525) that climbed the charts to #4 over an eleven week run starting April 10, 1943,

Dinah Shore was amazing. A great lady. L.A. Noire however could quite possibly be the most boring game ever. All you do is walk around and press a button when you feel a vibration. And it doesn't matter if you get all your interrogations wrong, you'll advance anyway. A two-year old could finish that clunker of a game - and two-year olds are probably the only ones the game appeals to, come to think of it.
@AuH2O Wow, Books are really boring. All you do is flip through the pages until you get to the end. No matter what you do, you'll get to the end eventually. Also films are really boring too, all you do is sit around and look at the screen.
I can't argue that L.A. Noir has flawed gameplay. But calling it boring is stretching it too far.

@hablerz you think so? I'm not so sure, but then again slang can be kinda hard to backtrace.

The first time I ever played L.A Noire and I heard this song I thought it was 'Over The Rainbow!' at the beginning!

@MixexiM You're just as much of a fool for calling books and movies boring.
