  • Larkin Malloy had anything but a flat delivery. He's in an impossible situation here, with a woman who did something amazing for him, someone who wanted him for herself, but he didn't want her at all. He was in love with Reva. He's trying to be grateful and encouraging of her recovery, without giving Maeve false hope. And then without getting her upset.

  • Kyle has the most flat, anchormanlike delivery ever! It's like he's telling her he forgot to pick up the laundry.

  • Kyle was a heartless bastard, wasn't he? LOL

  • This Dr Bauer was Dr. Chuck Tyler on AMC years ago.

  • I didn't think he was bad as the new "ed bauer". He wasn't given much of a chance. They brought back Peter Simon in 1986.

  • Not much of a stretch to go from playing Chuck Tyler to playing Ed Bauer- except for the alcoholism, that is. I still think Richard Van Vleet is a great actor- very underrated.

  • I agree. I think Richard Van Vleet would have made it as the new Dr. Bauer if there hand't been so many changes going on all at the same time. Mike Bauer was written off, Bert was gone, Hillary was gone, etc. etc. Being a 'recast' at that time only made people clamor for the other Ed (Peter Simon). Change is hard ......
