Mir gefällt die Stimme sehr gut. Vor allem bei der Liu. Die Sängerin singt "nach hinten" und dadurch entsteht ein wunderbar dunkler Ton. Auch die Interpretation finde ich gut. (bis auf die eine Stelle beim babbino, wo die Hände komisch verschränkt sind (4:00).

look... bel canto is a way of singing not just a style or time period. If you think "beautiful singing" doesn't apply to all composers and all vocal production, you need to go study. Do you think it is verismo or dramatic? Don't you think they still have their foundations in bel canto? You cannot have one without the other one..
