  • crank up the volume 52-1:00 u can hear 5 more thunderbolts activating it sounds Pretty Sweet sucks 2001 are popping up and there tearing down a better siren

  • can this particular unit be heard from downtown, because I heard this siren from coors field during the tornado warning at the rockies game

  • @CHICKENNUGGETS1011 No, this one is in the Southeast part of Denver. The Thunderbolt you could hear at Coors Field is located on top of the Federal Building in Downtown.

  • damn that city sounds full of thunderbolts!

  • @davisotj1 There are 29 Thunderbolts in Denver, all three types.

  • @SirenArchCar 29!! Damn they must like their thunderbolts. I live in Scottsbluff, NE where we have 5 and they want to go to Modulators. I bet people get scared shit less when all them thunderbolts sound. Got to be a very freaky sound lol.

  • @turbocountry Well, that's 29 Thunderbolts out of 76 sirens total. There are also Model 3s, Thunderbeams, SD-10s and 2001s.

  • @thunderboltlover This one is not suppose to rotate. It is still pointed in the same direction today as it did 8 months ago.

  • @thunderboltlover I got a feeling this one has had its rotator turned off. I think it is not supposed to rotate. It is still pointing in the same direction as it did 8 months ago.

  • RARE 0 RPM SETTING.

  • Are thunderbolt sirens the same thing as tornado sirens? (Sorry for the stupid question)

  • @hi91023 Yes they are.

  • @hi91023 Thunderbolt is the model of the siren, this isnt anything that explains what the sirens is sounded for. The Thunderbolt was made by Federal Signal

  • @carexpertandy Yes,i know now.I am very well-knowlegded about siren now.

  • @carexpertandy This was the first siren video i watched,I had literally thought 2001s were the only sirens. Except back then i called them tornado sirens.

  • @hi91023 Probably back when I was 6, I thought Thunderbolts, P-10/15s, and Allertors were the only sirens since those were the only things I could identify as sirens. When I was about 11, I Googled tornado sirens, and found a whole bunch of different designs!

  • @carexpertandy This is Sirenguy02 on the forum btw.

  • I love how you can hear other sirens firing up in the background too. pretty sweet!

  • did you report this to the EMA?

  • federal signal rules whelens suck!

  • it sounds well healthy its a shame it did not rotate chopper level 5? oh do you know what year those thunderbolts was put in

  • I am not sure but has to be in the '50s.

  • those thunderbolts are old

  • I would hate for them to be replaced. But it is only a matter of time before they are.

  • Awesome sounding 1000T! Same thing happened to me too, when i recorded a 1000. Hope the Rotator is fixed. A healthy TBolt like that should be able to rotate too.

  • I agree.

  • Great video! It seems to me that most schools aren't aware when their sirens aren't rotating. You might need to report it yourself.

  • Yeah, I'll try again to get a hold of the city.

  • 5 stars for awesome 1000T ambiance! I wonder if its something simple, like a broken belt?

  • Chopper level 5 alright! The others sound creepy in the background. Great vid!

  • Damn she sounds pretty healthy! Sounds like it's in an area with a good bit of other 1000Ts of all different pitches. That was an insanely good-sounding system recording from that spot, good job!

  • I agree. I am going to look up where those other ones are at. There was one somewhere behind me that I need to find.
