  • Incredible selection of Herkimer diamonds. Here we have our our variety where I live, and these are called "Buxton diamonds", though since the site was virtually stripped in victorian times, I've never found any. The clear ones of yours are truly magnificent. Being in a quartz matrix, I can well imagine how difficult it can be to dig them out without damaging them. Thanks for sharing with your great video.   • i du them in ny as well as the herkimer diamonds havent been to either place in years i want to say the garnet mine was at gore mountain but i could be wrong loved howes cavern and the caves of kentucky would like to go opal hunting saw a few shows on tv about the opal mines maybe some day bye for now and happy hunting

  • @TheBottlefreak Same here, I was watching the opal mines on tv and they have some beautiful pieces coming out now. They actually sold off a share of the bonanza mine a few years ago for $20,000. Im thinking of going next year, HH!

  • i see you have a nice assortment of herkimer diamonds i also have a small collection of herkimer diamonds not as big as yours most of mine are small crystals with a few larger ones i also have garnet from the garnet mines when i was younger i loved to go dig them but havent done it in years cant wait to see your upcoming videos bye for now and may all your finds be silver and gold
