  • Nice to see the old lorrys

  • I think I've driven that last one, the ERF B series!!! If its ex Brownings, T reg with a gardner straight 8 then I have

  • Just had a look on the original video mate , hard to make out but Reg. looks like GTW357T Fleet number 137 of R.K.Browning's!Thanks for watching!

  • Yep, thats the one! I'd heard this had gone for preservation,I'm so glad it was saved. It was sat in Brownings yard in leighton buzzard for ages, used as a shunter.

  • Shame the British lorry manufacturing industry couldn't have been preserved!I guess Britain will soon become a industrial heritage museum!

  • you're so right. Its so frustrating given what we used to be capable of. I still maintain ERF's demise was due to financial wrongdoings leading to the takeover by MAN. The trucks themselves were still capable machines.

  • That dark blue late 60s early 70s Scammell tractor unit sounds real good.

  • yup, I reckon it sounds like it has an 0.680 engine

  • Have you watched this video?

    watch?v=CDtjscPwrKY&feature=related

  • Love these old trucks
