People. All 3 Back to the Futures were good fucking movies. Everyone's blowing things out of proportion with adjectives like "sucky" "terrible" and etc. They're all WELL about "sucky" and "terrible" and even "decent." Now shut and enjoy the music.
I read that someone on here said they wish only the first one had been made and neither one of the sequels- so I am going to tell that the producers did not intend to do a sequel when it was being filmed. They just ended it with a cliffhanger to make it interesting. However, it was so successful that they decided to make it a trilogy and had both sequels filmed back-to-back. The third one was not only made to end the series- but I sometimes think it was done to do a story developing Doc's life.
@aero398 Well, "Back to the Future 4" was being planned for release about 10 years ago as a script for it had actually been written- but it got scrapped because Michael J. Fox got too sick from his Parkinson's disease making him have to retire from acting. Now producer Bob Gale and director Robert Zemeckis both said there will not be a sequel and never a remake. They like the original series the way it is as just a trilogy and want it to be left alone that way. I do agree with them about that.

@JeremyGSU I agree it is a great movie and has a awesome soundtrack and while I do think Back to The Future is the best of the trilogy I really liked part 2 as well. Now part 3 is where they ruined everything and should have just stopped.
@mphil145 Personally I enjoy all three of the films, and I wouldn't mind if BTTF 1 was the only one they made, still the Back To The Future trilogy are true classics.
@mphil145 If they would have stopped with 2, then we would be left with a cliffhanger. While 3 was inferior to both 1 and 2, I wouldn't wish for it to have never been made, as it wraps-up the series.
Besides, 3 was still a good movie, just not as good as parts 1 and 2.
@VaderNES I just recently rewatched Back to The Future 3 on the blu-ray release and I take back what I said about part 3 ruining everything. It was actually a decent/good movie I still think the first and second back to the futures are far superior however.
@mphil145 I liked 3 because it tied up the story well. Marty finally is able to overcome his arrogance of being called 'chicken' and changes himself for the better. I think it ended the trilogy well, and tied a strong message the power to change your fate is in your own hands.
