I think up until recently most productions of hoffmann have had really limited scenery. I like it that way but it sure is fun to see huge background scenery too.

Thanks to You Tube, I can now enjoy watching Ingrid Kertesi on PC, my most favourite soprano. Someday I want to see her play in Japan!!!
