Fabulous cinema The Empire, the most relaxing viewing arena I visited and when Fred was there, the standards of presentation went way beyond perfection. The main auditorium appears relatively intact today but the screen curtains look faded/dirty. However, I doubt the main auditorium will survive much longer, as they find it hard to get good films there today - Wall-E is the current attraction and now in its fifth week, hardly the film that would fill +1350 seats. Visit it whilst you can.
I saw Rio in 3D in Empire 1, it was fabulous.

The amazing thing was that they still had enough kit to RUN a show with changeovers at a moment's notice!
