You know, considering Slick gave you a bomb to blow up the wall the dragon went over.... why didn't he just ask you to blow up the debris blocking him in the first place? Considering he already collapsed the cave once I doubt it could've gotten any worse.

You can only carry one at a time anyway. Losing his current was the more effective scenario since it have him a needed full heal and was immediately replaced.
