Most of the times allies were fighting Germans, not Nazis.

There is a huge difference between Wehrmacht (regular German army) and SS (Nazis).

Nazis had 1 000 000 and Wehrmacht had 18 000 000 soldiers.

Simple Whermacht soldiers thought that they were attacked by Poland and the rest of Europe.

Nazis pulled all the strings. Propaganda is a very dangerous thing.

I bought this game over steam and it is great. Only thing is that I'm missing part of the info bar below. It doesn't show what weapon/skill/ammo level a unit has when I click on it. Also I have no icons in inventory menus when I search a dead soldier. Anybody know this problem?

@neverhoodyn I am not really into RTS, but I can say that Company of Heroes is a way better WWII RTS than this crap. Shitty voice acting, shitty graphics (and yes graphics do matter. I expect a game to look good for it's time and COH is even now still good looking) and the gameplay especially the micromanagement is mediocre. Company of heroes is a way better polished game. You should give it a try ;)

I've played COH and clocked over 120 hours in it so don't try to lecture me on COH. This game has 10x better physics than COH. 10x better strategy elements. 10x better multiplayer value. You should actually try the game before judging the game by the trailer. Never judge a book for its cover. There are PLENTY of old and ugly games that are ALOT better than modern good looking game so your argument is invalid.

Physics better in COH? I don't think so Jim. In this game you can actually shoot a grenade out of a soldiers hand. A bullet can bounce on a wall hitting a soldier in the head. Completely destructible building. If you hit a certain part of a wall the bullet will penetrate the wall leaving a hole. Judging by your typing you are somewhere between 13-16 years old. So it's not a big surpirise that this game is too hard for you.

It's called "ricochet" dickhead. Google it. Kids these days only care about graphics in games. Go to any video game forum and you will see kids circle jerking over pretty graphics. The buildings in COH do not have dynamic destructability. MOW has completely dynamic destruction just like Bad Company.

I can guarantee you that you have ALOT more than 120 hours combined playing video games, why does it matter which game you spend the time on?

lol, nice. Here's what really ruined it for me, the AI is dumb. Horribly dumb. At release time they couldn't even do naval invasions, so playing as great britain means you don't lose, ever. Most nations just stack armies near cities and wait to be pwned . Diplomacy is broken, if you played the game you'll know what i mean. And finally, tons of people couldn't even play the game, it would crash or not even start. I couldn't start a new campaign because of some bug or something,(no more space)

@Teoretisch Since when did TW games have one day as a turn? The trench war was only on the border between France and Belgium. The war lasted 4 years. Some of the sieges in history took more than 10 years. Was that boring in Rome, Med. and Napoleon? After all, the game is not supposed to be historicaly accurate. Like in Napoleon TW, I did not wait for Napoleon to invade my country. Instead I came over and kicked his ass.

Yeah, white death - Simo Häyhä, was a finnish sniper, who was probably the best sniper of the 20th century.

He's called white death because of his kill counts and how perfectly he hides in the snow.
