Someone said here that Angaharad had some signs of Elizabeth Taylor. I can tell you that Angaharad is a much better actress, nicer and more down to earth then Elizabeth!

I too love this series & have both Series I & II on VHS. It would be nice if it was put out on DVD here in the US. Don't know why it's not been done yet. One of the all time best!

When I watched the series as a very young girl, this scene sealed the deal for me: I was in love for the first time....

More than 20 years after I last saw the series, I bought the DVD's and watched it again. And every time this scene comes up, that teenage girl is back, still in love....

I guess it's true, you never forget your first love...
