Trey WAS amazing when he made this type of music. I was so inspired by his vocal talent. He was my favorite artist and all my friends knew that cause I would always sing his songs. After watching Trey on the BET Awards the other night, I have to honestly say...I miss this Trey. Don't get me wrong, Trey has put out some bangers since his first album...but there was something so authentic about this performance whereas his BET performance was so contrived and not-so-good sounding. Seems like his soulfulness is misplaced these days. When others were saying it, I didn't see it, but I can now. I'ma still support him tho.
