  • Aw, he wasn't so bad. McNamara was the one who convinced Johnson to create FOXHOUND after the Boss died in Operation Snake Eater.

  • @HonestObserver SNAAAAKKKEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

  • @HonestObserver ROFLMAO

  • i think that Robert Mcnamara was a wise man

  • He lived too long. 58K of American soldiers and 3 millions of Vietnamese did not have that fortune. Robert McNamara, Kennedies and anyone who made decision about Vietnam war should be rotten in hell. The sufferers in their hands were endless. Every living things in Vietnam in 60s and early 70s shared good doses of Orange agent. They were war criminals. Kennedy brothers died in gun shots because of bad karma. That's justified. Robert Mcnamara should be hanged.

  • @united1d Rage

  • @united1d doncha think de-escalating the cuban missile crisis counts for maybe just a little bit of karma? i mean, probably saved half the planet on that one.

  • @united1d kennedy was already dead by nam. what you are saying isnt fully correct. too many things to consider before you start say things like "they were war criminals". Not to be rude, but you need to look back at history with a little more understaning of what happened and why.

  • There can be no justification for McNamara's part in Vietnam. However, he lived with a greater burden of guilt than most can imagine, tantamount to all of the deaths caused by the war. He had one of the most difficult jobs and he did it how he, at the time, believed was best. His change of heart is, though not nearly compensation, respectable. I suggest watching Fog of War.

  • @mjmurry 58000 families devastated, can you imagine?

  • Sometime in 1995 McNamara published his I-

    - was- wrong memoir. The New Republic review of his book began," There are few men alive today who have killed more people than Robert S. McNamara." Perhaps it is an overstatement, but that sentence does speak to the pathetic lack of moral courage this poor devil displayed. May God have mercy on his soul.

Yes, I am a Vietnam era US Marine, thankfully alive to write this post on this .... whatever.

  • Rest in Peace. Least he did own up to his error which is rare these days.

  • Rest In Peace, I still remember watching The Fog Of War in history class...
