Combining a few ideas i have seen you can wrap the tissue around a stiff form and moisten the end with your tongue and lips. The screen works by capacitance so many materials that are capacitive will work, but the best ones will be dielectric because the faster the electrons move into the material the quicker the screen notices the difference. u people its so simple how the touch screen works, there is 2 types of touch screen resistive and capacitive resesive is the crap single touch type, in this type of touch screen there is multiple metal plates under the screen but 2 of these metal plates create a charge when they touch each over, this tells the phone were u r touching it. the ipod has capacitive, its the same concept as resistive but there is only 1 metal plate and the charge is picked up from your finger.

The iPhone is a capacitive touch screen. It works using a electrode pattern around the edges of the screen, when the finger touches the screen it creates a drop in voltage, which is calculated by a controller in the phone giving it the X and Y coordinates of the input.
