AC/DC was good old fashioned, straight forward, on the beat Rock and Roll. Not Metal. Never were! They were as simple as you could get yet so powerful and catchy and fun loving that they blew a lot of more technical or seasoned players away! Angus is one of the most entertaining guitar players ever. Both of their front men were unique and instantly recognizable when singing! Too bad there weren't more like them!
something you must all understand, is that in the 70's a whole lotta rosie, would have been classed as heavy metal.....now heavy metal means bands like iron maiden (and that would be a softer example)....looking back acdc is definately a high voltage rock n roll band....but to people who grew up in the blues explosion with clapton etc... ACDC is still a heavy metal band.. anyway, what does it matter....ACDC fucking rock, that's what's important

yea but i read in an interview that the first time he used one was this show in 79 at the apollo. But i could be wrong plus i will n ever say that he mined.
This seems like a really dumb question-but how is Angus able to run around like that; wouldn't the plug-in wire get in the way? (Did they even have wireless setups back then =?)
hehe Angus really knows his blues/minor Scale... thats what he uses through out this song i believe nut i haven't figured this song out yet so i donno just sounds like it to me :)
