If drugs are evil, than we should outlaw ALL drugs. Coffee (caffeine), cigarettes, alcohol, pain killers, tranquilizers ... all mood altering drugs. It's ridiculous to single out some drugs and say those are evil, you will go to prison for using, these other drugs are OK, use as you will. Completely irrational.

Agreed. Saying that pot is worse than alcohol is absolutely insane. There is actually some small amount (not solid) evidence that pot can reverse some types of cancer and that it can prevent Alzheimer's disease. It's not addictive, if you ingest it or use a vaporizer, you don't even have to smoke it and it doesn't make you violent. There's really nothing bad about it, and you can not overdose on it. This is just moronic, but at the end of the day, it's no one's business what I put into my body.

The U.S. is the biggest human rights violator on the planet ... we have more people in prison, per capita, than any country on the planet. Huge numbers of those people are in prison simply for using drugs, not having harmed anyone. Stop the war on drugs (i.e. stop the war on U.S citizens). Stop the hypocrisy.
